Introduction
The Blood of the Goddess is a force referenced within the Legend of Zelda series. Little is known about the exact nature of it, but it is the essence of what makes each heroine princess in the series Zelda. It is present in all games featuring Zelda, however it has only been directly referenced on several occasions.
Upon his defeat, Demise explicitly refers to the Blood of the Goddess. He curses the Blood of the Goddess so that an incarnation of his hatred would constantly stalk whoever has the Blood of the Goddess and force them to live a life of conflict.
Uses
- Reincarnation: Reincarnation Cycle, Memory Remembrance; All Zeldas are reliant on the Blood of the Goddess allowing her to reincarnate endlessly.
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics: Some Zeldas have been capable of feats such as taking hits from Ganondorf and briefly fighting him off. Others have been able to survive attacks from beings such as Bongo Bongo and take hits from Deku Scrubs.
- Magic: All Zeldas possess magic which is the reason behind their various abilities across games.
- Telepathy: Can telepathically talk to Link, can still telepathically reach out to one even while trapped within a painting.
- Possession: Can possess phantoms that have already been possessed. Once she finishes possessing the thing she's possessing it gets destroyed. Though this requires the removal of her soul.
- Precognition: Premonitions; Foresaw dark events in her dream.
- Blessed: Can call upon the Light Spirits to take her out of harms way and give her the light arrows.
- Creation: Wields the power of the sages, which allowed them to create a rainbow bridge.
- Regeneration Negation/Resurrection Negation: Low-Godly; Prevented Calamity Ganon from fully resurrecting.
- Light Manipulation: Can erect barriers of light, can create light barriers to seal those who previously resisted it.
- Paralysis Inducement: Creates a beam of light that makes Ganon unable to move.
- BFR: Application Based; Zeldas have the power of sages, who can send one into the void of the Evil Realm. Could send Adult Link back to his original time.
Resistances
- Sealing, Soul Manipulation, & Power Absorption: Zeldas have held the Master Sword without these effects.
- Electricity Manipulation: All characters in Age of Calamity are able to take electric attacks and move even while electrocuted.
Note
Please note that while all Zeldas share these innate abilities their strengths vary due to the different kinds of equipment they carry throughout the games (mainly the Triforce of Wisdom). Thus they do not scale physically to each other. It should also go without saying that items do not scale as the Zeldas do not have them.
