This character or verse has mature themes and concepts, thus those of young age are ill-advised to look through these. |
“ | Ok Jabari... Let's show 'em what these hands can do. | „ |
“ | Ice down for what? Sick of hearing that. All of my life I've been told to not stand out, because when I do, I "Put a target on my back." Nah, I'ma do me. No holding back to make anybody comfortable. | „ |
Background
Jabari Booker is the main protagonist of Monsters We Make.
He is a 17-year-old gifted musician, who enrolls at New Edyn Academy to hone his musical talents. Instead, he’s thrust into a harrowing reality. The academy, supposedly a haven for those born during The Eternal Night, conceals a grim mission—training its students to battle monsters. Across the city, ordinary citizens and even his peers are mutating into grotesque creatures, victims of the hidden experiments conducted by SANADA, a powerful and enigmatic tech conglomerate.
Forced into the ranks of the expendable HOUNDS, Jabari, and his unlikely allies must survive relentless waves of monstrous foes, unearth SANADA’s shadowy schemes, and grapple with the darkness that threatens to consume them all.
Personality
- Dislike of Moving: Jabari doesn't like how many times he and his family had to move across cities, sarcastically asking his dad if he should even bother making friends this time. Further emphasizing that he feels as if they're running.
- Comedian: Jabari tries an overall friendly and comedic personality, attempting to break the ice in conversations with jokes.
- Confidence: Jabari is very confident as a musician, being proud of his musical skill and achievements. Even telling Liam that he might end up being his teacher.
- Refusal to Back Down: Jabari refuses to not stand out purely because he'll have a target be put on his back, he'll live the way he wants to and won't hold back just to make people comfortable.
