Background
Leon Scott Kennedy, often called Leon S. Kennedy, is one of the main characters of the Resident Evil horror media franchise by Capcom. He made his debut as one of two main characters of Resident Evil 2, alongside Claire Redfield. He later returned as the lone main protagonist of Resident Evil 4, and then as one of the six main protagonists of Resident Evil 6.
As a prodigious young man, Leon was once a rookie police officer serving under the Raccoon City Police. On only his first day on the job, when first entering Raccoon City, Leon was quickly made aware that the entire city had been overrun by zombies created through the T-Virus outbreak. Alongside Claire Redfield, Leon flees into the Raccoon City Police Department, where he hopes to find refuge, only to find that it too has been infested. As a result, Leon and Claire are forced to split up and fight their way through the Department, with Leon eventually running into a secret agent named Ada Wong.
Leon is drawn to Ada immediately, though their alliance is short-winded. As the adventure out of Raccoon City comes to a close, Ada betrays Leon, only to wind up seemingly dying. Heartbroken, Leon pushes forwards and reunites with Claire, who herself has rescued a young girl named Sherry Birkin. After destroying the Super Tyrant that stood in their way, Leon, Claire, and Sherry escaped Raccoon City.
It wouldn't be long before Leon was captured, however. With his skills being noticed by the US Government, Leon would be trained for the next six years to become a US-STRATCOM Agent, before being sent on his first mission. Having been sent to a small village in Spain, Leon was tasked with finding the President's daughter, Ashley Graham. While searching for her, however, Leon only managed to get knee-deep in the plot of a sinister cult known as the Los Iluminados.
Leon fights his way through the infected village, eventually finding and rescuing Ashley. After taking out multiple members of the Los Illuminados, including their leader Saddler, Leon and Ashley escaped victorious from the village via ski jet. With Ashley rescued, the two returned to America, and Leon was congratulated for completing the nigh-impossible mission. It would be nine whole years until Leon had another notable mission.
Still working for the US Government, Leon was barely able to make it through the C-Virus outbreak, alongside his partner Helena Harper. Not long after this, Leon was framed for the murder of the President, to which he travelled to China in order to find the real killer and clear his name. Along the way, Leon was able to reunite with both Ada Wong and a grown Sherry Birkin, who he hadn't seen in many years. Leon's further whereabouts are unknown.

*Matilda: A handgun that Leon was equipped with upon his arrival to Raccoon City. It can hold up to 12 bullets, and then can be upgraded to hold 24 bullets with the High Capacity Mag.
- M19: A handgun held in one hand, which packs more power and recoil than the Matilda. It has a 7-round capacity.
- Lightning Hawk: One of Leon's most powerful guns, far superior in power to the M19, though it also has high recoil. Much like the M19, it has a 7-round capacity.
- Chemical Flamethrower: Leon obtains this after solving a puzzle in the sewers. It emits a powerful wave of fire in front of him, roasting anything in his path.
- Anti-tank Rocket: A weapon that Leon was given by Ada, during his fight with the Super Tyrant. It has four rockets within it, and holds enough power to completely obliterate the Super Tyrant in one shot.
*Combat Knife: A large knife that Leon uses as a melee weapon, which he uses to slash crates apart, and also finish-off enemies. After enough uses in combat, this knife will break and become unusable.
*First Aid Spray: A can of medical spray, which will fully restore Leon's health when he sprays himself with it.
*Mixed Herb (G+G): The mixture of two Green Herbs, which will restore half of Leon's health when used.
*Handgun: A simple handgun, which Leon was carrying when he first arrived in the village.
*Combat Knife: A large knife that Leon uses as a melee weapon, which he uses to slash crates apart, and also finish-off enemies.
*Infrared Scope: A scope that can be attached to Leon's rifle, which lets him see the world under infrared light. This allows for him to see the parasites on peoples bodies.
*Mixed Herb (G+G): The mixture of two Green Herbs, which will restore half of Leon's health when used.
*Wing Shooters: A pair of two Wing Shooter pistols, that became Leon's primary weapons. Both of them hold up to 18 rounds, and are usually dual-wielded.
*First Aid Spray: A can of medical spray, which will fully restore Leon's health when he sprays himself with it.
Intelligence: Gifted (Leon is a fully-trained government agent with loads of experience. The Raccoon City incident occurred on his very first day as a rookie police officer, and yet he was still able to preform incredible feats that not even experienced officers were able to pull off. He is capable of defeating soldiers like Krauser, who are equally trained and have years of fighting experience)
Weaknesses: His feelings often lead him to be too trusting in people who will turn on him later, primarily shown through his experiences with Ada Wong.
