During the quest to claim Soul Edge and avenge the father unknowingly killed by his very hands, Faust was Siegfried's primary blade.
- Grimblade: A blade that consumes tremendous energy when attacking. During his quest for the invincible weapon to avenge his father with, Siegfried found himself be employed in a band of mercenary knights working under the legendary Sir Stefan. Grimblade was the weapon of Stefan, and Siegfried, in attempt to steal it for himself, had came under his employment. Eventually, Siegfried was able to kill Stefan and claim the sword for himself, but found little use for it when he realized it did not grant him power.
- Atlas Sword: A highly defensive blade with a strength-recovering effect. When Siegfried's quest brought him to an ancient sanctuary of Greece, Siegfried was pit against the holy woman, Sophitia. In defeating her, Siegfried though tthat he had proved himself to the gods enough to be granted the power he sought, but grew enraged when they did not respond. In his anger, he destroyed the sanctuary, and within the rubble that remained, he found the Atlas Sword.
- Flamberge: A vibrant blade that enables swift attacks. Siegfried travelled to a colosseum, which he heard was gifting powerful weapons to whoever came out victorious. Determined to win the grand prize, Siegfried was pit up against the world's strongest warriors. After a slew of tough battles, Siegfried claimed victory, and was awarded the Flamberge.
- 7 Branch Blade: A weapon that recovers the Weapon Gauge within a certain period of time. Siegfried found himself off the coast of Japan, at a castle called Noto Castle owned by the Noto-Murakami and Setonai pirates. Due to his immense bravery and skill, Siegfried was quickly hired by the pirates and made their castle guard. As reward for defeating the powerful Taki, Siegfried's pirate crew gave him the 7 Branch Blade.
- Hard Steel Blade: A tremendously powerful sword. As Siegfried made his way down China's Yangtze River, he was assaulted by a man named Li-Long, who sought to steal his blade. Once Siegfried fought the sword-collector and sent him plunging into the riverbed, he picked up the Hard Steel Blade, which was littered among many stolen swords.
- Claymore: Enables extremely fast attacks. Arriving in Italy, Siegfried was reminded of the greedy Vercci, who hid a mountain of treasure within an impenetrable vault. Within the treasure troves, he uncovered the Claymore.
*Soul Edge: The ultimate evil sword. Dangerously powerful. The end of Siegfried's quest was near as he took himself to a Spanish port, where the immortal pirate, Cervantes de Leon, was said to use as a base. Once he arrived, Siegfried found the pirate already dead, and laying beside the sword of his dreams. The sword reacted to Siegfried's presence and reanimated Cervantes, as the two engaged in a legendary final battle. With Carvantes defeated, Siegfried claimed Soul Edge, and asked for infinite power. In response, the sword latched itself onto Siegfried's body, and transformed him into the terrifying Nightmare.
*Requiem: A sword that has become one of Siegfried's staples, alongside Faust. This is the blade that Siegfried wields in the brief moments when he is able to escape from his Nightmare persona, using it to try to make amends for the horrible deeds he commits as the Azure Knight.
