Setsuna Kai is the main protagonist of Devil Children Black Book, a GBA title in the Shin Megami Tensei series. He is a young boy with a blue jacket and platinum-silver hair, and possesses a COMP (a device using the Demon Summoning Program) called the "Devil Riser."
The beginning of Black Book shows Setsuna waking to find his brother Nagahisa downstairs anxious, with the TV reporting about the presence of demons and kidnappings. As a package is dropped off and Setsuna goes to retrieve it, two Petit Frosts barge into the Kai household and kidnap Nagahisa.
Setsuna opens his package to find the Devil Riser, a pistol which can summon demons using the Demon Summoning Program. From there, he sets out to rescue his brother Nagahisa and punish his assailants.
Attack Potency:Varies.Average Human level physically. With Devil Riser: Average Human level (Can summon Petit Frosts, which can damage him), Street level (Can summon Cool, who can one-shot Petit Frosts), Small City level (With some stronger demons, he can combine their powers to perform the skill "Megaton Press"), higher by evolving (He can increase all of the abilities of a demon by evolving it to a higher level)
Combat Speed:Average Human,Supersonic with Devil Riser (Summons demons by firing out bullets). Massively Hypersonic+ with some demons (Quick Spear/Blade/Buster is faster than lightning attacks and always outpaces them)
Range: Several meters with Devil Riser. Several meters with some demons (Various demons such as Cool can use AOE attacks). Interstellar with Traport (Teleports him across the Expanse, which has many areas containing stars and sub-areas withdifferent star systems of their own)
Intelligence: High (He navigated the Expanse, the home of the demons, which has different laws of physics and exists in a completely non-physical state. Not only did he do this, but he deciphered which demons were best paired with which to create new forms of magic, and he accurately manipulated, fused and even recruited demons on his way up through this world)
Weaknesses: Due to being a regular child with no real means of fighting, he has to rely on his demons and strategic thinking to protect him, otherwise he'll be killed.

Ice Breath: Light damage to all foes, simultaneously freezing them
Trio The Punch: Random damage to random foes hitting eight times, while making the opponent so overjoyed they stop attacking for a short time with each hit
*Mazandyne: Spell dealing heavy damage to all foes
Sonic Boom: Light damage to one foe
Mega Cyclone: Medium damage and lowers luck for one foe
*Maziodyne: Spell dealing heavy damage to all foes and paralyzing them
Quick Buster: Medium damage to one foe. Always goes first
Judgement Thunder: Medium damage and paralysis infliction to all foes
*Mamagnadyne: Spell dealing heavy damage to all foes
Grand Break: Heavy damage to all foes, simultaneously lowering their defenses
Last Blow: Damage to all foes. Power increases as the user loses HP

Gather Power: Increases the user's attack power

Mediarahan: Restores a great amount of HP for the entire party
Samarecarm: Revives one party member with full HP
Patradi: Removes negative status effects from one party member and restores some of their HP
Tarukuja: Increases the party's strength
Rakukuja: Increases the party's durability
Sukukuja: Increases the party's luck
Speed Up: Increases the party's speed
Makakaja: Increases the party's magic
Magukaja: Increases the party's resistance to magic
Dekunda: Removes negative status effects from all party members

Domudi: Absorbs HP from one foe
Dark Spear: Does damage equal to 1/3 of the target's HP
Evil Eyes: Light damage to all foes, simultaneously lowering their durability and increasing the user's MP

Dark Saber: Charms one foe with medium damage, making them attack their party and healing their foes
Chomp: Light damage to one foe that ignores their durability
Quick Blade: Light damage to all foes while simultaneously removing all their positive status effects
Parala Eyes: Medium damage and paralysis infliction to one foe
Hell Thrust: Medium damage to one foe that ignores their durability and makes their next few powers fail
Tetrakarn: Creates a barrier that reflects all powers
Poison Blade: Medium damage and poisoning to one foe
Countdown: Inflicts paralysis but increases a stat for one foe
Death Breath: Heavy damage that charms all foes, making them attack their party and healing their foes
Life Drain: Heavy damage to one foe that restores the user's MP
Poison Breath: Heavy damage and poisoning to all foes
Tarunda: Lowers all foes' strength
Rakunda: Lowers all foes' durability
Sukunda: Lowers all foes' luck
Magunda: Lowers all foes' magic resistance
Dekaja: Removes all positive status effects from all foes
Dormina: Puts a foe to sleep
Hapirma: Makes a foe so overjoyed that they stop fighting for a short time
Paralama: Paralyzes a foe
Marin Karin: Charms a foe so that they attack their party and heal their foes
Pulinpa: Confuses an enemy so that they become indecisive and either attack at random, do nothing or flee in panic

Makafuji: Forces the opponent's following powers to fail
