Powers and Techniques

Human Achievements (King is incredibly good at games, noting himself that he has won a lot of action-game tournaments in the past[20]. Easily defeated over 30 of Fubuki's men in a fighting game competition, where she enlisted several pro-gamers[21]. Can pull off a 999-hit combo with just two fingers and pummel Saitama in a fighting game for five minutes straight[22]), Poker Face (Supernatural Poker Face; King is able to maintain his composure and not show a hint of fear to a robot trying to kill him, despite realistically being scared for his life when he's finally alone[23]. Able to stay calm and serious while calling out Centichoro to come attack him only losing face when Saitama doesn't attack him immedieatly[24]), Social Influencing (Social Status; His "tremendous strength" alone attracts people, whenver he visits the streets, there are always crowds of people[25]), Intimidation (King is noted to give off the intimidating air of a ruler, sometimes knocking an opponent out before the fight even starts[26]. His "King Engine" is noted to be a thumping that is so loud it puts fear into enemies, where monsters even fainted from coming face-to-face with King[27]. A monster just seeing him noted he had an intense vibe and viewed him as standing far above him, passing out afterwards[28]. A monster pretending to be the hostage got so scared from King's King Engine that he started hyper-ventilating whcih ruined his transformation and caused him to accidentally stab a vital part of his body during the de-transformation[29]), Supernatural Luck (King has displayed immense luck, he has happened to run into threat level demon or dragon monsters where someone beat themw hile his eyes were closed, with it happening by chance five times[30]. Happened to say the exact right words to a group of assassins to make them hesitate and eventually ive up on killing him, when he wasn't even aware they were there to kill him[31]. A monster pretending to be the hostage ran up to King but from hearing the King's engine and from King trying to tell him to stay away from him, got tricked into thinking that King saw through his disguise and died in the process[32]. King called out another child afterwards believing it to also be a monster but through his call out he had a monster that was invisible reveal itself[33]. Had the luck of facing against 3 Dragon level threat Monster Association members that kept overthinking all of his actions, along with Garou appearing at the end of the fight and defeating the enemies for him[34])

All beings in One-Punch Man have a Limiter which through trying to break it, starts granting them the following abilities: Indomitable Will (One that breaks their limiter need to have extreme will to continue[35]), Mimicry (Physiology Mimicry; Limiter users should scale to Phoenix Man, who could gain abilities based off the inspiration of his costume[36]), Supernatural Resilience (Characters like Garou were able to survive being ripped apart and a hole in his chest[37]), Resurrection (To experience explosive growth, one must be on the brink of death and die than resurrect[38]), Reactive Adaptation (Garou has shown to increase himself to blitzing and overpowering Darkshine, who previously managed to break his entire ribcage, by breaking his limiter[39])

Equipment

Nothing notable.

Notable Techniques

  • King Engine: A thumping that shakes the ground, a sign that King is ready for battle. "His blood must be gasoline." The thunderous sound is so loud that it has become the origin of many whispered urban legends. In reality, it is merely King's heart beating from how sacred he is. Though due to beings not knowing that, the sheer pressure from the engine puts fear in his enemies, and can even cause them to faint.

Other

Standard Tactics: King will never try to attack, trying to use his intimidating appearance along with threatening talks[40]. His extreme luck also seems to help him out in situations. If an enemy is not affected by his intimidation he'll opt to make excuses to "hold off the fight"[41].

Weaknesses: His name will not intimidate robots[42]. His name will also not scare people who have absolute faith in their strength, though his extreme luck will cause them to do things like overthink every action he does[43].
