Didn't you hear me? Beat it. Or do you wanna end up poisoned like them?
~ Jea to Lanney

Background

Jea is a antagonist in the YouTube and Newgrounds animation web series Gwain Saga. She is the right hand of Tahjin and is a terrorist who works with Luna. The pair would aid Luna during an attack on the Gwain statue and would come into conflict with the Gwain Warriors, a group of people who protect the Kingdom of Gwain. After defeating various Gwain Warriors, Jea would eventually be frozen by Deva and knocked out by Lanney. Jea would be held at Geo's watchtower, being unable to escape due to tied up with rope.

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Jea's story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!

History

Gwain Saga - 007

Not much is known about Jea's past but one day she would become Tahjin's right hand. Jea and Tahjin would also one day start working with Luna and would agree to attack the Gwain statue with her during its unveiling. On the day of the attack, Luna would be sent flying away by Marlow, forcing Tahjin to take command. Jea and Tahjin's minions would be commanded to attack and they would jump on top of the Gwain statue. Jea, Tahjin, and his forces would confront Deva and Agni, two of the guards on top of the statue. Tahjin would give Deva and Agni the chance to retreat, but due to the pair asking dumb questions about Tahjin's hands and their crude jokes about Jea being Tahjin's "right hand", they would be poisoned and incapacitated by Jea.

Sometime later Jea would inform Tahjin that every guard was neutralized and that he could split the statue in two if he wanted to. While Tahjin was deciding on whether to spilt the statue in half or not, Lanney would climb up the statue and would be spotted by Jea. Jea would give Lanney the chance to flee, threating to poison her, but would be launched off the statue by Lanney using her rock element after seeing her friends poisoned on the ground. After Tahjin was defeated, Jea would climb back up the statue and would threaten to kill Lanney. Before she could do that however, Deva and Agni would wake up from being poisoned and Deva would use her ice element to freeze Jea in place. Lanney would then use her rock element to knock Jea out, ending the attack.

Gwain Saga - 008

Jea would be seen tied up in Geo's watchtower, being watched by Savien. She was likely left alone in the watchtower when the Gwain Warriors went to the beach.

Notable Techniques

Jea poisoning Deva and Agni
  • Poison Element: Jea wields the poison element, which allows her to create poisonous gas to attack her opponents. Those effected by Jea's poison will be knocked out for a long time and will still be poison when woken up, though it will wear off eventually.

Other

Standard Tactics: Jea will use her poison to attack her opponents.

Weaknesses: Teorans can run of out magic during battle.

Note: Characters such as Jea, Tahjin, Ami, Deva, Agni, Savien, and Lanney are not scaled to Geo. While there have been few times where these characters have tanked hits from characters who can harm Geo, these have been deemed as Outliers as it has been consistently shown that these characters are far weaker than Geo. Such examples include Ami being knocked out from something Geo completely tanked, a train crash that Geo was able to survive being a massive threat to Ami, and Ami consistently needing Geo to protect her from threats. Agni got one shot by Marlow, who noted that she couldn't take much of Geo's attacks, along with being unable to harm a robot that Geo and Marlow could harm. The Elite Captain, a captain of an elite security troop, who is six times weaker than Geo in base and needing to amplify himself to harm him without magic, should be superior to characters like Savien, who noted how its weird that he, Deva, and Agni were invited as security guards when they were not professionals. Deva's ice is also unable to harm said robot. Kaditopez, someone who's implied to be stronger than most Teorans, is unable to harm Geo. Savien noted he couldn't harm Geo that much and couldn't take much hits from a casual Geo. Tahjin got one shot by Geo, with Geo cracking his head in the process, despite having a broken arm.

Miscellaneous Feats

Same as Attack Potency.

  • Deva & Agni - Fight
    • Conditions: Jea had Tahjin and his forces with him.
    • Location: Atop Gwain's Statue.
    • Note: Jea would have still won if he didn't have his Tahjin's forces with him. It is unknown if Jea would have one without aid from Tahjin.

  • Lanney - Fight
    • Conditions: None.
    • Location: Atop Gwain's Statue.
  • Lanney & Deva - Fight
    • Conditions: Jea was tried from climbing a 150 meter statue. Geo and Agni were watching the fight. Deva and Agni were still poisoned
    • Location: Atop Gwain's Statue.
    • Note: Jea would have still likely lost the fight without inference from Deva.

None.
