Background

Kokichi Muta is a supporting character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He was a second-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High using Ultimate Mechamaru as his proxy to attend school. Kokichi himself could not due to the sickly and fragile body he was born with as a result of his Heavenly Restriction.

Intelligence: Above Average (Kokichi was a highly tactical thinker and fighter who tried to always stay a step ahead of his opponent. While in combat with Panda, Kokichi ascertained Panda's strengths and weaknesses as well as his own at every stage of the fight. Kenjaku also praised Kokichi for having decent tactical prowess while fighting Mahito. Kokichi was well prepared for their fight and his tactics nearly succeeded in wearing Mahito out and damaging his body while neutralizing his technique)

Standard Tactics: In base, Kokichi will swarm his opponents with his puppets in order to overwhelm and distract them. With Ultimate Mechamaru or Ultimate Mechamaru Mode: Absolute, Kokichi will learn the strengths and weaknesses of his opponent in the midst of battle so that he may use his variety of weapons and energy blasts to counter and overwhelm his opponent.

Weaknesses: Because of Heavenly Restriction, he was born without his right arm and lower part of his legs, cannot withstand sunshine or moonlight without sunburn, and experiences extreme chronic pain which he describes as feeling like every pore in his body feels like its being stabbed constantly. However, he was later healed by Mahito and no longer suffered these conditions. | None Notable | None Notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Cursed Energy (Juryoku?): A power source aligned with negative emotions used by sorcerers and curses to fuel their jujutsu. As a result of his Heavenly Restriction, Kokichi's cursed energy was vast enough to cover the entire nation of Japan. He can exceed the limits of his cursed energy output and use his Puppet Manipulation across an immensely wide range. While piloting Mechamaru Mode: Absolute, Kokichi was prepared to use all seventeen years, five months, and six days of cursed energy he collected over his entire lifespan. Energy charges condensed from years' worth of cursed energy discharge at special grade output levels, even if only momentarily. Kokichi was born without a right arm and both of his legs were useless. He had no feeling below his waist, his skin was so sensitive it couldn't be touched by natural light and the pores on his body always felt like they were being stabbed with needles. In exchange, he was granted boundless amounts of cursed energy that spreads over a vast range.

• Puppet Manipulation (傀儡操術 Kairai Sōjutsu?): Kokichi's technique allowed him to remotely control cursed corpse puppets over a wide range. Puppets such as Mechamaru are capable of using discharging cursed energy as heat rays among a bevy of other abilities.
  • Ultimate Mechamaru (究極メカ丸 Arutimetto Mekamaru?): A mechanical cursed corpse that Kokichi originally used as his proxy to attend school and missions.
    • Sword Option (刀源解放 Sōdo Opushon?): Multiple blades protrude from Mechamaru's forearm, along with his nails extending. Mechamaru is also capable of increasing the size of his forearm and having spikes protrude of it.
    • Ultra Spin (絶技抉剔 Urutora Supin?): Mechamaru spins his hand and forearm, and swings his right arm at the target. This technique is capable of easily piercing through a tree trunk.
    • Ultra Shield (剣山盾 Urutora Shīrudo?): Mechamaru puts up his guard, with his forearm in front of him, to block incoming attacks.
    • Boost On (推力加算 Būsuto On?): Mechamaru releases cursed energy from his elbow to increase the speed of his attack.
    • Ultra Cannon (大祓砲 Urutora Kyanon?): Mechamaru fires a blast of cursed energy from the palm of his hand.
    • Mode: Albatross (砲呪強化形態 Mōdo Arubatorosu?): Mechamaru protrudes a cannon from his mouth.
    • Ultimate Cannon (三重大祓砲 Arutimetto Kyanon?): Mechamaru fires a blast of cursed energy from his mouth.
  • Ultimate Mechamaru - Mode: Absolute (究極メカ丸絶対形態 Arutimetto Mekamaru Mōdo Abusoryūto?): A large mechanical puppet that Kokichi is capable of piloting from the cockpit in the puppet's head. It is capable of large scale attacks by using up cursed energy that was saved beforehand.
    • Ultra Cannon (大祓砲 Urutora Kyanon?): Kokichi fires a blast of cursed energy from the palm of the puppet's hand. This technique consumes one year's worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
    • Miracle Cannon (二重大祓砲 Mirakuru Kyanon?): Kokichi fires a blast of cursed energy from both of his puppet's hands. This technique consumes two years' worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
    • Pigeon Viola (追尾弾～五重奏～ Bijon ~Biora~?): Kokichi creates 5 orbs made of cursed energy and blasts from them when released. The blasts follow the target until they come in contact with something. This technique consumes five years' worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
