Background
Baiken is a recurring character in the Guilty Gear series. She is a wandering samurai of Japanese descent, whose home was raided by Gears during the Crusades. Having witnessed the horrible deaths of her parents and friends, she has sworn revenge on That Man at any cost.

Even before awakening her power, she was able to match I-No. Held her own against Ariels' elite soldiers, who are strong enough to give Ramlethal trouble[2]), higher with Statistics Amplification (Once she had awakened her power in one of her endings, she was able to kill I-No)

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Enhanced Senses (Was able to sense Answer), Extrasensory Perception (Can detect the aura of others), Weapon Usage (Is a skilled swordswoman and is proficient with a variety of other weapons), Chi Manipulation (Utilizes Ki in the form of seals [6]), Magic as Information Manipulation (Magic stems from The Boundary, an infinite well of information), Summoning (Can summon tatami mats), Statistics Amplification (Was able to awaken her power to kill I-No), Resistance to Disease Manipulation (Was unaffected by the effects of the Information Flares to Japan[7])

Intelligence: Gifted (Boasting the claim that there is nothing her blade cannot cut, Baiken is considered to be a fearsome fighter, using her secret weapons and traditional Japanese katana with great skill despite the loss of her eye. She is able to incorperate various weapons into her fighting style along with magic and ki and has been able to fight a variety of opponents despite being a regular human. Ky even described her technique as "flawless")
Standard Tactics: Baiken will fight on the defensive and wait to understand her opponent's offensive to properly counter it with her arsenal.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
*Tatami Gaeshi: Baiken stomps her foot to kick up a tatami mat. While not very flashy, this is one of her core abilities.
- Youzansen: Baiken whirls a number of hooked blades from her prosthetic arm in a wide circle.
- Azami: Baiken parries the next few blows to strike her. This has a number of powerful followups.
- Suzuran:Baiken dashes forward suddenly. This move allows Baiken to access Azami followups without parrying anything.
- Kabari:Baiken throws out a grappling claw, which she can follow up with a few different strikes and an RKO outta nowhere.
- Youshijin: Baiken sends her opponent into the air with a spade-shaped blade.
*Tsurane Sanzu-watashi: Baiken attacks the opponent with several deadly slashes. This is her most common Overdrive across each game.
Metsudo Kushoudou: Baiken launches grappling hooks past her opponent, and uses that to pull her forward into a powerful kick.
Baku: Baku applies some kind of effect to the opponent based on which button you press. All effects disappear after a set amount of time.
Tate Shunmaku: Baiken delivers a single strike passing through her foe. A few moments later, the opponent collapses with multiple slashes just as she re-sheathes her blade.
