Background

Fire Trooper is the 6th boss in Metal Gear, a former GSG9 (German Counter-terrorism Police Unit) member and Outer Heaven mercenary who is skilled with flamethrowers. During his time at Outer Heaven he guarding Building 2's basement to rooftop evaluator until he fought against Solid Snake in an attempt to stop him from getting out of Building 2's basement but he was defeated and killed by Snake.
