Background

Gohin is a main character in Beastars. He is a large, muscular, giant panda who works as a doctor and therapist for carnivores within the Black Alley Market. Not much is known about Gohin's history, but he used to have a wife and a child who he decided to leave due to how dangerous his work.

Bamboo Crossbow: A Crossbow made from of bamboo and rope that shoots sharpened bamboo sticks, Gohin used this to fight off the members of the Shishigumi while Legoshi went to save Haru from the boss.

Bamboo Machine Gun: A belt-fed machine gun that uses bamboo instead of wooden parts. Gohin also used this o fight off the members of the Shishigumi while Legoshi went to save Haru from the boss.

Mighty Net: An animal snatcher that Gohin uses to fight and capture savage carnivores.

Bamboo Whip: A whip made of bamboo that Gohin used on Legoshi when he tought he was trying to sneak up on him.

Carnivore physiology: Due to his carnivorous heritage, Gohin has numerous abilities inculding

• Heightened Senses: As a giant panda, Gohin has highly developed senses, including night vision, smell, taste and hearing.

• Combat-Oriented Body: As a large carnivore, Gohin's body is naturally combat-oriented allowing it to develop the more he fights.

• Fighting instinct: As a large carnivore, Gohin can operate his fighting abilities on pure instinct, allowing him to instinctively assess his opponent’s vital statistics even if he has no intention to fight

Imaginary Chimera: A technique he taught Kyuu. According to Kyuu, an imaginary chimera is when you "compensate for what you lack by conjuring an image" of a larger, stronger animal.
