That’s just it! I don’t know who I am. For years, my mind’s been poisoned with hate and fear. I don’t know if there’s any good left in me.

Titanium Power!

Background

Ryan Mitchell was just a young boy when he was involved in a car crash, involving his little sister, Dana Mitchell, and his father, Captain Mitchell. When the car was suddenly swerved off the road, the family of three were sent tumbling off a cliff. The three would almost certainly be dead, however Captain Mitchell was able to barely grab onto a root. As both Dana and Ryan clung to him, Ryan began to slip. Desperate to save his son, Captain Mitchell called for help from anyone who could hear.

Much to his surprise, somebody heard his called. The spirit of a powerful and ancient demon, Diabolico, claimed that he would save Ryan's life, under the circumstance that Ryan would come with him, and not see his father or mother again until his 20th birthday. Without another option, Captain Mitchell agreed, and Ryan was taken to be raised by Diabolico for the next decade.

As time went along, Ryan became a fierce man and brutal martial artist. Diabolico's training pushed Ryan beyond the limits of a regular human, making him almost demon-like in power. All the while, Diabolico fed Ryan lies that Captain Mitchell left him to die, and that he only ever cared for Dana. Ryan's hatred grew, and he couldn't wait for the day where he could get revenge on his father.

That day came, on Ryan's 20th birthday. Using his demonic training, Ryan was able to easily infiltrate the Lightspeed Aquabase, which his father was currently running. There, Ryan came into possession of the unbelievably powerful Titanium Morpher, and became the wicked Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger. In the coming days, Ryan would use his Titanium Ranger power to wreak havoc upon the Lightspeed Rescue Power Rangers. However, during one fateful match, Ryan's identity was revealed to both his father and sister.

After several rough encounters and explanations, Captain Mitchell and Dana were able to explain exactly what had happened during the car crash. Starting to remember the truth, Ryan revolted against Diabolico and joined the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers. Although he suffered from a feeling as though he was not worthy of forgiveness, Ryan's good deeds as a Power Ranger slowly reinforced that he was redeemable. Ryan made up for his wrong-doings, and would serve the side of good as the Titanium Ranger for years to come.
