|
Molli set out to the mansion after her friends dare her to do - though her reason for going through with such a dare was primarily to shut them up about the ridiculous rumors, of the mansion being haunted as as opposed to giving in to peer pressure. As she entered the mansion, Molli was quickly locked within and forced to accept that the mansion was in fact ACTUALLY haunted. Molli would meet Bunber, the ghostly butler of the mansion who would rapidly teach Molli how to defend herself within the mansion, but before long, Bunber's master, Phantom King would ferociously attack Molli. Molli would then have to work her way up the mansion, utilzing various flashlights, charms, candies and curses to best Phantom King's powerful underlings. upon meeting Phantom King once again, Molli would succeed in defeating him. Upon his defeat, Phantom King's curse would weaken just enough for Candy King, the human form of Phantom King, to temporarily free. with his short time, Candy King would trust upon Molli the Peppermint of Soul before creating a way out for Molli to escape the mansion. After escaping the mansion, Molli would briefly celebrate her freedome, before facing the mansion and feeling sorry for friends still trapped within. attempting to think of ways to possibly free them, Molli would inspect the Peppermint of Soul a bit closer and came to the shocking realization that it was seemingly alive. Molli could feel a poweful hunger coming from it, perhaps it was more than just a spooky souvernir... Molli would return home, However, knowing the Phantom King’s curse was still looming over the mansion made it difficult for her to move on. Molli had seen firsthand the power of the curse - and she knew, deep down, that she was the only person capable of destroying it. With the Peppermint of Souls in-hand, Molli set out once more for the haunted mansion at the edge of town... Molli would have to face more powerful version of foes she had defeated previously, but with skill she would vanquish them all and thanks to the Peppermint of Soul's power, their fragment of curse would be consumed, freeing the human hosts. Arriving once more in the Shudder Shade Study, Molli would meet Candy King who was desperately attempting to hold back the curse and pleading for Molli to run, but before long, Phantom King arised in a more powerful form, Phantom King Omega. Phantom King Omega, more powerful than ever, would utilize every trick in the book in attempt to overcome Molli, utilizing the very charms, candies and curses she had used to get this far. However, none would be capable of defeating Molli and before long, the young girl stood victorious. With all her strength, young Molli held the Peppermint of Souls to the sky, her body shaking as the Phantom King's darkness flooded into the mystical candy. The room was flooded with light as the peppermint's magical energy battled against the ferocious curse. And then, as if nothing had happened... ... the Phantom King's spirit was gone - devoured by the Peppermint of Souls. The room was still. Molli looked at the candy in her hands. It felt warm, and the sense of insatiable hunger it regularly emanated was now replaced by a feeling of fulfillment. The peppermint's eyes then closed, as if it were sleeping. A sugary energy tingled Molli's hands, and in the blink of an eye, the Peppermint of Souls had disappeared. Was the curse finally destroyed? With the Peppermint of Souls now gone, Molli rushed to the side of the exhausted Candy King. She helped him to his feet, and after adjusting his crown, he looked at Molli with warm eyes and a big smile. Candy King: Molli, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done. Without your bravery, my assistants and I would never have escaped the clutches of that dreaded curse. I did not expect you to return to the manor. However, I gave you the Peppermint of Souls with a sliver of hope that if you ever did, it might be the key to breaking the curse. I am not sure how I could ever repay you... The Candy King led Molli to the mansion's front door. Olly, Paige, and Hector were already waiting there. "Thank yous" and "good-byes" were exchanged, and the Candy King waved to Molli and Olly one last time as the sunrise creeped over the horizon. And with that last good-bye, Molli headed home. She turned to look at the mansion one final time, reflecting back on her candy-coated adventure and the new friends she'd made along the way. What else is in store for young Molli Pop? Only time will tell! Afte the credits, Molli can be seen working inside of Candy King's candy shop, a broom in hand and wearing an apron. |

| Molli's Flashlight | Starter | N/A | Common | Beam | The flashlight Molli brought with her to the mansion. Her father gave it to her so she'd be safe coming home at night. He probably wouldn't have guessed she'd use it for ghost-hunting. Reliable, sturdy, and simple: there's really nothing quite like it. Molli even built a device that lets her attatch it to her bicycle for stylish, safe night-riding! | Damages enemies in front of Molli. Greater increased chance that defeated enemies will drop hearts. | |
| Olly's Flashlight | Listen to all of Olly's backstory | N/A | Junk | Beam | A beat-up, worn-out flashlight that belongs to Olly. He gives it to Molli as a gift for listening to his long winded tale of a tragic love story. But isn't it dangerous for Olly to give Molly his only means of self-defense? You'd be right, but Olly always carries an emergency spare. Safety first! | Olly's beat-up flashlight. Looks like it's seen a lot of use. | |
| Candies n' Curses/Firefly Lantern | LV 3 | 2400 Souls | common | Lantern | A lantern that holds the ever-burning essence of a ghostly firefly. | Candies n' Curses/Virusfly Lantern | LV 22 | 8400 Souls | Rare | Latern | A firefly that's been tainted by venomous lime extract, the Virusfly is a highly toxic creature that must be kept inside the lantern at all times. But they'll disintegrate ghosts with the slightest touch! | Virus flies orbit Molli and have a chance of producing deadly poison puddles when destroying an enemy. | |
| Candies n' Curses/Torchfly Lantern | LV 17 | 4800 Souls | Rare | Lantern | A powerful Torchfly lives inside the confines of this sturdy lantern. The orbs that rotate around Molli are intensely hot, and can melt any ghost they touch. Has a chance to produce a damaging flame and spawn laval pools on walls. | |
| Candies n' Curses/Blight Blade 9000X | LV 30 | 20000 Souls | Epic | Blade | A blade enchanted with the essence of cursed dreams. Other
Standard Tactics: Molli will use her large assortment of flashlights, charms, candies and curses to work her way around any opponent. if faced with a cursed opponent, Molli will use the Peppermint of Souls to devour their curse in order to free them.
- Flashlight Weaknesses: King's Beacon's Bubblegum Wraith will vanish upon Molli taking too much damage. Hot Head's Chamberstick's wisps are temporarily snuffed out when they destroy an enemy. Necro Scythe's Bubblegum Bones will vanish upon Molli taking too much damage. The tail piece of Worm Light's candy bon bons will explode upon Molli taking damage. Beam-type flashlights are unfavorable for vertical movement, needing Molli to carefully plan out her jumps. - Charm Weaknesses: Gauge changing charms can't be used together. Certain Charms will come with penalties such as increasing the amount of damage their user takes or reducing their Heart Points amount.
- Curse Weaknesses: While Curses offer buffs, they also come with a variety of penalties such as increasing the amount of damage their user takes, reducing their Heart Points amount or summoning allies that can harm them as well.
- Maltose Machine Weaknesses: The Maltose Machine can give Molli a wide array of negative effects such as decreasing her speed, increase damage she receives or even reducing her Heart Point amount.
- Unique Weaknesses: Molli's chain will be broken if she takes damage. Molli's only weapon experience is with flashlights or flashlight adjacent items. Molli's soul form is unable to interact with objects.
Note: Despite Candies and Curses themselves being considered optional equipment, Molli can naturally harness their powers
