Universe Survival Saga Later, on a rocky battlefield, Cabba attempts to teach Caulifla how to unlock Super Saiyan on her own. He admits that he does not really know how to explain the process, so he starts insulting her in an effort to make her angry. That approach does not work at all. He then tells her to focus her energy on her back. Caulifla does exactly that and transforms into a Super Saiyan with ease. Since this is her first time, Cabba warns her that the form will drain her energy, but he assures her that will stop happening once she gets used to it. Caulifla asks how to turn back, and Cabba explains that she needs to release the tingly feeling from her back. She does so and reverts to normal. She happily agrees to join Universe 6's team and invites Kale, another female Saiyan who looks up to her as a mentor. Caulifla tries to teach Kale the same technique she just learned from Cabba, but nothing seems to work for her. After a long conversation, Kale starts believing she is nothing but a burden to Caulifla. This causes her to transform into a Legendary Super Saiyan, and she completely loses control. Cabba and Caulifla engage Kale in battle, trying to calm her down. Kale fires a ki blast at Cabba, but Caulifla steps in, unleashes her Super Saiyan 2 form, and knocks the blast away. She tells Kale that she is not going to fall for Cabba. Kale finally powers down and instantly falls asleep. Caulifla flies over and catches her before she hits the ground. When Team Universe 6 arrives on Champa's planet, Champa supplies Caulifla and Kale with Potara earrings. He wants them to serve as his secret trump card during the tournament. They do not want the earrings and try to give them to Cabba, but Champa insists they use them when the time is right. Team Universe 6 arrives at the Null Realm for the Tournament of Power. Cabba introduces Caulifla to Goku and Vegeta. Goku offers his hand for a handshake, but Caulifla smacks it away and says she will not be friendly with anyone from an opposing universe. Goku and Vegeta are surprised by the powerful ki coming from Team Universe 11. Caulifla remarks that if the Universe 7 Saiyans are wimps, the rest of the tournament should be no problem. Once the tournament begins, Caulifla stays close to Cabba, watching the explosions caused by other fighters and waiting for the right moment to make their move. She, Kale, and Nigrissi watch as Goku and Vegeta enter Super Saiyan Blue and use a Final Kamehameha to overpower the Trio of Danger's Triangle Danger Beam. She soon watches as Zeno and Future Zeno erase Universe 9. When Kale gets nearly knocked off the stage by two attackers, Caulifla appears and saves her. She turns Super Saiyan and knocks both attackers out. She knocks Jimizu away and tries to get Kale to transform so they can attack Goku together. When Kale cannot do it, Caulifla decides to challenge Goku herself. She shows interest in his Super Saiyan Blue form and demands that he teach it to her so she can beat him up with his own power. Goku declines, telling her she is not ready for that form yet. Insulted, Caulifla tries to get his attention by turning into a Super Saiyan Third Grade form, not realizing that Goku already knows that form and has moved past it. He easily defeats her and explains the drawbacks of that bulky form. He tells her she should focus on mastering Super Saiyan 2 instead and transforms into it himself. Caulifla is amazed and admits that she cannot transform into Super Saiyan 2 at will. Goku helps her achieve the form and tells her to concentrate afterward. Impressed by her natural talent, Goku says she might even reach Super Saiyan 3 during their fight. Caulifla is surprised, as she did not know a third level even existed. The two fight one on one in their Super Saiyan 2 forms, ignoring Kale as they enjoy the battle. Kale tries to support Caulifla by attacking Goku, but both Goku and Caulifla brush her off. Feeling like she is in the way and growing jealous of Goku for taking Caulifla's attention away, Kale transforms again and develops an intense hatred for Goku. Her first attack nearly knocks Caulifla off the stage, but Hit saves her. Caulifla watches as Kale pummels Goku and creates chaos across the battlefield. She realizes that Kale will be disqualified if she kills someone and tries to calm her down. Kale, blinded by rage, tries to attack Caulifla as well. Jiren then easily defeats Kale with a single blow. Caulifla and Hit fall back with the unconscious Kale. She and Kale take a break to recharge after the ordeal. Caulifla praises Kale for how extraordinarily well she performed. When Goku emerges from the battlefield, Caulifla accuses him of attacking Kale from behind, but he denies it. They come across the Pride Troopers, who want revenge for what Kale did to their comrade. Caulifla decides to take on those warriors herself and encourages Kale to fight alongside her. She trades blows with Kettle but soon finds herself under attack from Kettol's Guided Rapid Fire Energy Blasts. She avoids them for a while but eventually gets injured. The situation gets worse when Cocotte creates her Cocotte Zone Max to prevent anyone else from entering. Zoire tries to finish Caulifla off with his Justice Spin, but she uses whatever energy she has left to protect Kale. Just when it seems hopeless, Kale's unique Super Saiyan form destroys the tornado and saves Caulifla. Caulifla tells Kale how proud she is that Kale has learned to control her transformation. She then goes Super Saiyan 2 and fires her Full Power Energy Wave alongside Kale's attack. The two of them match and eventually overpower the Pride Troopers' United Justice Stream after Kale transforms into her Berserker form again, this time fully in control. The combined attack sends Kahseral, Kettol, and Zoire flying off the arena, eliminating them and even breaking Cocotte Zone Max. Caulifla speaks for both of them, thanking Goku, and then leaves to rest. While hiding and resting in the ruins of the arena, Caulifla watches the battle between Hit and Dyspo. Kale gets worried and asks if they should help Hit, but Caulifla says no, believing Hit's power will carry him to victory. Hit figures out how to defeat Dyspo, and Caulifla is happy when he rings Dyspo out. However, Dyspo is saved by his teammate Kunshi. As Dyspo starts beating Hit, Caulifla decides to step in despite Kale's warnings. Luckily for her, Goku jumps in while in his Super Saiyan God form to fight the two Pride Troopers. Later, Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba watch as Hit fights Jiren. They are shocked when Hit loses and gets knocked out by Jiren. Caulifla discusses the fight between Goku and Jiren with Kale, getting excited at the thought of becoming stronger herself. The two female Saiyans get attacked by Monna of Universe 4. Caulifla prepares to fight Monna and tells Kale not to interfere. Cabba appears and fights Monna himself, believing that Caulifla and Kale will be Universe 6's secret weapons for survival. He is willing to do everything he can to protect them. Caulifla later saves Goku from Koitsukai, Pancéa, and Borareta, who are attacking him while he is weakened. She knocks all three down. Goku thanks her, and Caulifla immediately goes Super Saiyan 2, having rested enough thanks to Cabba's efforts. Caulifla then challenges Goku to a fight. She blames herself for not being able to save Hit and Cabba from getting eliminated. Vowing to become stronger, she asks Goku to teach her how to reach Super Saiyan 3. Goku agrees but tells her she has to beat him first. Caulifla asks why he will not transform, and Goku admits he is too tired from his fight with Jiren, but he promises to pick up the pace as they fight. They begin fighting, and at first Caulifla cannot land a single hit on Goku, who easily outmaneuvers her. She finally lands a punch, and Goku starts taking things more seriously, using the Afterimage Technique. Caulifla gets confused by the technique, and Goku knocks her aside, telling her that if she cannot figure out his afterimages, she will never achieve Super Saiyan 3. Goku starts speed blitzing Caulifla until she begins adapting to his movements. Caulifla tells him to transform before he loses. He complies and goes Super Saiyan 2. Caulifla asks why he will not go Super Saiyan 3, and Goku says he has not recovered enough stamina for that yet. Caulifla fires her Crush Cannon, which Goku barely manages to block. He decides to get serious and asks if Caulifla can keep up for round two. Goku and Caulifla fight on even terms, and Goku is impressed with how quickly she is improving. Caulifla gets excited at the thought of defeating Goku and achieving Super Saiyan 3. Both power up to their maximum and start firing energy blasts at each other. The impact shakes the entire arena and destroys debris all around them. Caulifla fakes an energy blast directly in Goku's face, catching him off guard with a clean punch. Kale realizes that Caulifla is genuinely having fun in this fight. Goku is impressed, saying she might go even beyond Super Saiyan 3. He points out Kale, and Caulifla invites her to join the fight so they can both achieve Super Saiyan 3 together. Kale happily agrees, and the two of them manage to land clean hits on Goku. Goku defends himself against both of them, then gets pushed back. Caulifla and Kale fire energy blasts at him, but Goku blocks the attacks with his aura and transforms into Super Saiyan 3, shocking both of them. Goku thanks them, saying he can feel power boiling inside him again. Caulifla and Kale are amazed by the form's immense power, but Goku immediately reverts to Super Saiyan 2, saying he still has not recovered enough stamina to sustain Super Saiyan 3. Caulifla is determined to defeat Goku alongside Kale and become Super Saiyan 3. Kale is also determined to get stronger. She powers up into her Legendary Super Saiyan form, worrying everyone watching. Caulifla is amazed by Kale's power. She walks up to her and tells Kale that she has finally made that energy her own, extending her hand. Kale grabs it, but grips it so hard that the ground beneath them partially crumbles. Caulifla asks Kale if she recognizes her, acknowledging Kale not just as her protege but as her true friend. She says they should pose as the greatest threat to all the universes together. The two sides begin their battle, and Goku gets overwhelmed by their combination attacks. Caulifla tries to attack Goku, but he uses the Solar Flare to blindside her and send her crashing into the ground. When Frieza starts going on the offensive again, Caulifla tries to attack him as revenge for knocking Cabba off the stage. Frieza tries to retaliate, but Goku stops him. Goku resumes his match with Caulifla and Kale, excited to fight them with everything he has. Caulifla creates a smokescreen, forcing Goku to focus and sense Kale's incoming ki. However, that is just a diversion. Kale grabs Goku and holds him in place while Caulifla pummels him. Goku flips, causing Kale to crash into the ground and let go of him. He tries to use Instant Transmission, but Caulifla uses her senses to attack him as he reappears. Goku acknowledges Kale and Caulifla as the perfect tag team and transforms into Super Saiyan God. He attacks with several Finger Beams, which the two Saiyan women dodge. Despite their combination attacks, Goku holds his own. Caulifla and Kale try blasting Goku from both sides, but the more experienced Saiyan pushes back their attacks with his own. Kale struggles against her own blast while Caulifla notices hers is tracking her. She tries to run from it but takes a direct hit. Goku compliments them on their performance but says they still need more training. He offers to fight them again after the tournament. Caulifla realizes she is no match on her own and tells Kale to take out the item they received before the tournament. As Goku fires a Kamehameha, the two use their Potara earrings and fuse into the powerful Kefla to fight Goku on even terms. However, Caulifla and Kale later get separated and eliminated from the tournament by Ultra Instinct Sign Goku's Divine Kamehameha. Caulifla curses Goku and swears she will get a rematch. During the fight between Saonel and Pirina against Gohan and Piccolo, Caulifla yells out to Saonel and Pirina, saying that if they lose, she will beat them up. When they are defeated, Caulifla stays true to her word. She transforms into her Super Saiyan form, chases them around, and tries to pummel them as the Zenos erase Team Universe 6. Later, Android 17's wish to restore all the erased universes brings Caulifla back to life. She nearly knocks Kale over with a hug when she sees that Kale has been revived as well. They rush over to Cabba, with Caulifla happily demanding that he train with them so they can all reach Super Saiyan 3 together. |

Forced him to transform into Super Saiyan 2, which she could match). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast (Charged Blast have one focus all of their energy into one single point[11], putting the blasts power far beyond what their peak strength is[12], allowing them to destroy things they couldn't prior with their regular attacks[13], this also allows them to use charged attacks that can stop enemies far beyond their level, such as Tien Shinhan pushing back Semi-Perfect Cell with his Neo Ki-Ko-Ho[14], along with stopping an attack shot from Buu absorbed Gotenks[15]. Strongest charged blast can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[16], with blasts capable of[17] seriously damaging/destroying[18] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[19]. Charged Blast also rely heavily on emotional states for example Gohan not believing in himself[20] was having Cell overpower him in a beam clash[21])

Range: Standard Melee, Universal with Ki Attacks (Comparable to Goku, who's shockwaves spread across the universe and reached the Kaioshin Realm, otherworld, and more)
Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Able to run a gang of Saiyans as their leader, and can perfectly mimic Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 after briefly seeing them. She's also able to keep up in combat with characters having decades of experience, such as Goku)
- Chi Manipulation & Ki Manipulation (All beings in Dragon Ball[23][24][25] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[26], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[27] block attacks that would otherwise[28] kill them from[29] raising their guard[30], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[31])
- Aura
- Projection: A users ki aura can exert itself[32] as a weapon to attack[33].

- Mood Reflection: Goku and Piccolo Jr. with their auras and their stern concentration on each other reflected in their electric auras, even shooting electricity at each other[36].
- Emotional Empowerment (It's noted that ki users can receive energy through one cheering them on[37]. Ki users can be greatly increased by their emotions and beliefs, Son Goku explains that Son Gohan needs to remember the time he fought Cell and bring out all of the power he has, this way he can lose to no one[38] where it's shown during the Cell beam clash that he was holding back greatly out of fear of destroying the earth but from being cheered on and using all of his power within him, he was able to overpower Cell[39])
- Attack Reflection (All Ki users are able to reflect attacks just by being stronger than their opponent[40]. Examples include, Nappa deflecting a masenko from Son Gohan[41], Son Gohan being able to bounce back the spirit bomb[42], Son Goku deflecting a crusher ball from Jeice[43], Frieza deflecting a Final Burst Cannon from Vegeta[44], Son Goku reflecting multiple death beams back to back from Frieza[45], and Future Trunks being able to completely repel an energy blast with his hand from a Frieza Soldier just by being much stronger than them[46])

- Penetration Damage
- Weapon Creation (Ki users can create energy weapons out of their attacks[51])
- Power Absorption & Energy Transferal (Ki users can transfer their ki to others and absorb the ki given to them from others[52])
- Attack Nullification
- Power Nullification
- Ki Energy Based: Through having greater ki, one can nullify the powers done through ki attacks, such as Frieza being able to nullify a hakai ball[56], which fully destroys a target[57], though he is unable to resist a hakai ball from Toppo due to him being stronger[58], this ability however only works on ki, attacks unrelated, characters cannot resist through being stronger, such as how Vegeta, Krillin, & Son Gohan are unable to resist Guldo's psychic powers[59], along with even the likes of Son Goku[60].
- Forcefield Creation (Ki users such as Cell can generate forcefields around themselves[61]. These forcefields can be expanded[62], and used to protect others and defend against attacks far higher then the user[63]. Forcefields effectivel allow the ki user to be able to block substances from other ki techniques, such as poisons[64]. Ki users can also project forcefields around themselves to protect themselves from ki absorptions that require grabbing them and bringing them into one's body[65])
- Super Armor (Through releasing one's ki, they enter a state known as "Hyper Mode"[66], in this state they do not flinch from weak melee attacks[67])
- Self-Destruction (Ki users in Dragon Ball are able to[68] release all of the energy within them[69] to cause a massive[70] self-destruction of energy that normally kills the user and turns them into dust[71] though one can control it to surviving but having no stamina or energy left[72])
- Dormant Power Reservoir (Ki users have a dormant power reservoir within them, as shown in arcs like the Buu Saga where Babidi saps this energy in order to use the energy to revive Buu and break his seal[73])
- Internal Destruction (Powerful ki users can overload enemies with their ki, causing them to swell up and explode from the sheer density of ki within them[74])
- Binding
- Dreaming Existence (Characters in Shin Budokai have shown to create physical bodies in alternate timelines through dreaming[77])
- Non-Standard Interaction
- Intangible Interaction: Those with ki can block intangible attacks when they focus and notices them[78].
- Space-Time Interaction (3+1-D): Characters can blast space-time distortions to close them[79].
- Healing
- Healing Singular Targets
- Advanced Healing: Ki can be used to heal beings, allowing them to survive even with half their torso[80], it can also heal from near death[81].
- Healing Singular Targets
- Resurrection
- Resurrection of the Deceased (Limited): Ki users can resuscitate ones heart from death through instilling lifeforce into their ki and hitting their heart, restarting it[82].
- Resurrection from Exhaustion: Can heal downed allies to give them ki back, reviving them[83])
- Intimidation & Spirit Manipulation (Ki is the manifestation of one’s lifeforce[84], along with the aura giving one the feeling of being crushed[85], exerting fear[86] into the target, sometimes making them incapable of moving as their[87] body is instinctively stuck due to the sheer difference in power[88])
- Link Manipulation & Mind Manipulation (Characters can link their ki together and train within each other’s mind enacting in image training[89])
- Vibration Manipulation
- Electricity Manipulation
- Weather Manipulation (Powerful Ki users can generate entire storms through merely powering up alone, Nappa used this in order to conjure the electricity from the storm[94]. Goku showcases this when he first turns super saiyan, causing a massive lightning storm in the background[95])
- Energy Manipulation (Ki is the latent power in one's body, this latent power allows them to form and create energy from controlling their ki[96])
- Explosion Manipulation (Ki attacks can create massive explosions[99], or control the ki to set off a huge explosion under the enemy[100], or in front of them[101])
- Portal Manipulation
- Non-combat applicable: Characters in GT can link their minds together to open a portal between the living realm and the other world[102].

None.
Optional Equipment
- Potara Earrings: Earrings worn by Supreme Kais and their apprentices. Despite being worn so casually, they have incredible properties, allowing two individuals to fuse or permitting the wearer to use the Time Rings.
Notable Techniques
- Flight: The ability to take flight through the manipulation of ki.
- Ki Blast: The most basic form of energy wave. Caulifla's ki attacks seem to have a unique reddish flame detailing.
- Ki Sense: The ability to sense the energy of other beings. Caulifla demonstrated she has this ability after sensing Jiren's power rising along with Kale.
- Continuous Energy Bullet: A combination of many energy waves fired at a very rapid rate.
- Crush Cannon: A move in which Caulifla launches several of her signature red energy blasts at the opponent in rapid succession.
- Burst of Energy: Caulifla's special move, she fires a stream of powerful red ki wave at her opponent. In the manga, this technique resembles the Kamehameha, only with her fingers pointed outwards like Gogeta's Atomic Kamehameha. This technique was named and first appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, where it is mistakenly colored orange.
- Crush Stream: A variant where Caulifla launches two balls of energy before launching a red energy beam.
- Limit Break Blaster: Caulifla and Kale in their transformed states combine their green and red Energy Blasts similar to the Final Kamehameha.
- Super Saiyan: Caulifla attains this transformation during her lesson with Cabba. Showing an instinctual nature for it, she is able to do so without a strong emotion, unlike most initial Super Saiyan transformations. Instead, she attained it by concentrating her energy into the part of the back between the shoulder blades. Caulifla is able to maintain the form after only two attempts. Because she obtained this form without emotional build-up, it is likely that she does not suffer from any strain mentally or physical from using this form. As such, she can access this form's full power and maintain it for longer durations. Unlike most Saiyans, her hair remains unchanged in style while in this form.
- Super Saiyan Grade Three: In the anime, Caulifla first demonstrates this form while challenging Goku to a fight in the Tournament of Power. In this form, Caulifla's hair remains the same as a Super Saiyan, but her body becomes considerably taller and her frame much bulkier. Caulifla grows drastically more powerful, but as a detriment, she is severely slowed down due to sacrificing her speed for power. When Goku easily defeats her, he informs her about the drawbacks of the form, thus reverting to regular Super Saiyan.
- Super Saiyan 2: In the anime, Caulifla attains this transformation shortly after achieving Super Saiyan for the first time on Sadala, during her battle against Kale in an attempt to reflect the latter's energy blast. Similar to her first form, Caulifla apparently obtained this form instinctively. In this form, her hair completely spikes up, standing above her shoulders much like Gohan's in his Super Saiyan 2 form as a child against Cell, and three bangs appear, similar to Goku's Super Saiyan 2 form. At the Tournament of Power, Caulifla tells Goku that she had unlocked the form but has been unable to transform into a Super Saiyan 2 by her own free will after doing so spontaneously, but is soon able to do so with Goku's assistance. Goku suggests that Caulifla should concentrate on mastering her Super Saiyan 2 form before going any higher. During their second fight, Goku, eager to see Caulifla's potential growth, began testing her with various stunts to sharpen her instincts and improve her battle method. Once she adapted enough, Goku showed her how to strengthen Super Saiyan 2, which she quickly reciprocated.
Other
Standard Tactics: Caulifla will use her Super Saiyan forms and use a combination of both melee and ki attacks.
Weaknesses
- Standard Ki Weaknesses: Ki users that do not have sufficient training over their emotions put their power within a mental lock, with changes to their emotions can seriously limiting their powers or making them uncontrollable[120]. Their emotions can also have them instinctively block using the full power of their attacks out of fear of the destruction along with lack of confidence in themselves[121].Ki users can only sense targets moving at super speed through feeling their chi[122], with them becoming so accustomed to tracking energy that they've lost their eyes for movement[123]. Ki users can get hit by off guard attacks from characters far slower then them[124]. If ki users are paralyzed or their nerves are numb, they can be killed by much weaker attacks[125]. If a Ki user is inflicted with any kind of status, disease, or poison, powering up or transforming will put further strain on the body[126] and can speed up the process of poison[127]. Users of Ki Sensing cannot sense beings that invisible, even if the character is in front of them attacking them, they have a hard time countering them due to being invisible[128]. Users of Ki Sensing also have a harder time sensing the true being using illusions, requiring them to focus in on energy fields to see who is moving and who is casting the illusion[129]. Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, using a large amount of ki overtime can greatly weaken them to the point that characters far lower then them can actually harm them with attacks[130]. Taking large amounts of damage can greatly deplete a ki users attacks, making it where attacks that would otherwise kill massively weakened characters, only pushes them back[131]. Ki users cannot put all of their ki and strength into an attack if parts of their body are broken/injured[132][133], they also lose half of their chi if something like one of their arms are badly injured or broken[134].Ki users that are able to ki sense cannot do it when their guard is dropped, such as when Vegeta was able to sneak attack Son Goku during the end of their fight in the Buu Saga[135]. Despite some ki users being able to reach blasts that can destroy planets through charged attacks or techniques[136][137][138][139], they have not shown to be able to tank such blasts themselves[140][141][142], with attacks that have[143] destroyed several[144] planets in the series[145] always killing the character. Even characters such as Majin Buu's body cannot withstand the energy of a planet exploding[146]. Using ki volley attacks come with the caveat of their aim being rather poor, making it harder to hit moving targets. If ki users are at all possessed, even by accident, their true self will be sleeping within, with the possessor needing to awaken them[147]. Even if awoken, they are immobilized and unable to move without the possessor giving them the ability to[148], even with them wanting to wake up, they cannot do it[149]. Specific waves can can suppress a ki users power, and put their consciousness to sleep[150]. If Ki users stamina is broken, they will unable to be able to continue fighting for a short while, this will also cancel out any ki attack they were attempting to use, including ultimate's[151], this also adds on that ki users guards are down while charging ultimate attacks. Their stamina can also be broken if a character moves far too fast and surprise attacks them while they're charging their ki[152]. Ki Users can also be grabbed out of charging their attacks[153]. When ki users radiate their Ki at its highest, their body is also freed the most, making them open to attacks and making them easy to possess[154]. Ki attacks can be blocked by magma based attacks, such as even when Vegeta's strongest charged blast, the final flash, was being blocked by Magetta's magma[155]. Ki users have far lower reactions and speeds when they do not have their ki up or are not on guard, such as when Mai's sniper would've hit Goku Black if she didn't miss[156].
- Unique Weaknesses: Hotheaded and often boasts herself.
Note
- Some clips used on the profile come from an anime or movie due to the fact that some abilities from ki use shouldn't function much differently from how they can in canon, along with this sometimes the anime version/video game version of a scene will be used for cleaner visuals. Toriyama himself directly overlooks scenes in the anime and movies and gives Toei the thumbs up[157].
- The speed scaling for PLs are taken with a grain of salt as there are noticeable times where someone's speed isn't equal to their power, such as Burter being faster then Recoome and Jeice, along with Super Saiyan Grade 3 Trunks having his power greatly increased but his speed decreased.
Trivia
- Like all full-blooded Saiyans, Caulifla's name is a pun on a vegetable, that being a cauliflower. Cauliflower also belongs to the same plant group as Kale, her subordinate, and also to Broccoli, the namesake of her subordinate's Universe 7 counterpart.
- Caulifla is the first female Saiyan to become a Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 in the mainstream Dragon Ball series.
- She is also the first female Saiyan to achieve Super Saiyan Third Grade as well as the first Saiyan in Universe 6 to achieve this form. Interestingly, she is the first Saiyan to achieve this form after attaining the Super Saiyan 2 form which is superior to Super Saiyan Third Grade.
- Caulifla is also the first Saiyan in Universe 6 to achieve Super Saiyan 2.
- Caulifla's hair in both her base form and Super Saiyan form resembles Broly's hair in his Legendary Super Saiyan form.
- Her having greater potential than her elder brother is similar to Goku surpassing Raditz. Additionally her relationship with Renso is the opposite of Goku's relationship with Raditz whom is evil and doesn't approve of Goku's rejection of their race's brutal Saiyan ways typical of Universe 7 Saiyans, while Renso was part of the Sadala Defense Force which fights evil with his younger sister Caulifla being a criminal gang leader and behaves in a manner similar to Universe 7 Saiyans, behavior that is considered delinquent by the general Saiyan population though Renso acknowledges his sister's strength and Caulifla herself is a relatively decent person despite her criminal behavior.
- Caulifla has similarities to Paragus:
- They both try to control Kale and Broly.
- They both try to prevent Kale and Broly from becoming completely insane after witnessing their transformation into the Legendary Super Saiyan.
- Without Caulifla, Kale would lose control of her form like when Broly goes completely insane without Paragus and his devices.
- In addition, both also nearly ended up killed by Kale/Broly. The only difference besides Caulifla surviving while Paragus did die is that Kale nearly killed her due to losing control, while Broly was implied to have done so out of revenge for Paragus trying to abandon him on New Planet Vegeta (and possibly also outfitting him with the crown in the first place).
- Similar to Goku Black, while Caulifla fought Son Goku in the anime on several occasions, in the manga, the two never fought and never even truly meet.
- While Kale's feelings towards Caulifla have been teased to be romantic in nature in Dragon Ball Legends, it also teases that Caulifla herself may have romantic feelings for Kale as when she is defending Kale from Eis Shenron, she affectionately refers to her as "My Kale".
Explanations
Codex Statistics Questions
Q: What about the planetary feats in Dragon Ball?
A: Planetary feats are normally done through their strongest charged blast, where they can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[158], with blasts capable of[159] seriously damaging/destroying[160] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[161], though they themselves are never capable of leaving this unscathed.
Frieza throws a destroy the planet death ball attack but it doesn't destroy the planet. Goku then interestingly notes the reason the planet didn't blow up is because Frieza was too scared of getting caught in the blast[162] . Vegeta's final flash is noted it's going to destroy the planet and Perfect Cell, who is beyond Vegeta, couldn't tank the blast and had to dodge it last second or it would've killed him[163]. Goku's kamehameha was going to destroy the earth and Cell cannot tank this blast, needing to regenerate[164]. Semi-Perfect Cell explosion was consistently noted it was going to destroy the planet and Gohan and it killed Goku[165]. Ultimate Gohan dies to an attack that destroys the earth, his guard was up too since this was when he was fighting Super Buu[166]. Kid Buu shoots a blast trying to destroy the planet, with Vegeta noting he's going to take himself out with it if he lets it off[167]. In Dragon Ball GT, Great Ape Baby Vegeta shoots a super galick gun that he claims will destroy Earth, when Goku is hit by it, he is knocked out to the point that he can't move for a good while, Elder Kai and Shin later state that Baby is going to shoot another blast that will destroy the planet on, greatly injuring Baby if he's caught in the Blast and will kill everyone on the planet if done[168]. Frieza destroyed the entire earth, killing Vegeta in the process[169]. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't need to hold anything back and can go all out because anything that happens to the Earth can be restored with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Yet, none of Goku's all out attacks destroy the planet but just heavily causes shockwaves around it[170]. Semi-Perfect Cell unleashes a several blast that destroys several islands Android 16 notes that the attacks are just strong enough to not kill Android 18[171].
In the fight of Trunks vs. Mecha Frieza, who is far stronger than his final form, Mecha Frieza immediately goes for his strongest attack, the Supernova. In the original Z anime King Kai even states this is ten times stronger than the power he used on Namek:
- DBZ Kai Version[172].
- Original DBZ Anime Version[173]. The attack is directly noted that it could destroy the planet, but doesn't because Trunks catches it, when Mecha Frieza proceeds to detonate it, the explosion is massive but the planet is still intact, implying Frieza must target the core in order to destroy the planet.
