Popon appears as a hidden playable character in Gurumin. She is Pamela's niece and can first be encountered in Tiese Town after the player finishes the game once and begins a New Game Plus playthrough. In this mode, she offers gameplay tips, including how to unlock different outfits, and provides information about platinum medals and Doc's Magic Urn. To unlock the ability to switch between Popon and Parin, the player must achieve the "true" ending on Beginner, Normal, Hard, and Happy difficulty settings.

General Description:
Popon is a young girl who is around the same age as Parin but shorter. She has blue eyes and blonde or yellow hair styled in twin ponytails tied with pink, red, and green beads.
Clothing/Outfit:
A blue and white dress with a green button and pink ribbon. White gloves. White and brown shoes.
Alternate Forms/Disguises:
Unlike Parin, Popon does not equip alternate outfits or headgear.
She only shows up when one finished Gurumin once thus she is not seen until effectively a new game plus playthrough.
If one fulfills the unlock requirements she helps out Parin on her quest.
Pamela
Popon is Pamela's niece, story wise introduced to Parin at the end of the game as a kid she can finally play with in town. During new game+ however, she appears much earlier in town.
This world is a reflection of what's in our hearts. With out village destroyed and our friends gone, the world is unstable. The Dark Mist comes from our sadness and worry.
Popon's gameplay is nearly identical to Parin's, though she uses a sword called the Dragon Slayer instead of a drill.
Unlike Parin, Popon cannot equip any gear, which means she remains vulnerable to all environmental hazards and cannot increase her strength.
Popon also lacks unique dialogue, aside from a brief exchange with Parin when switching between characters. During cutscenes, she shares Parin's voice and dialogue.
She does not need to collect the sweaty parts from Cylinder to repair Doc's computer, as she already has a brand new Portable Radio that Doc can use for parts.
When asking Pecky to sponsor the rebuilding of Monster Village, Pecky does not require Popon to make him laugh, unlike with Parin.
