Characters from obscure works or series known only by a niche crowd or even smaller.

How characters fall under this list:

• The characters or their verse is largely unknown by a majority, barely covered in youtube videos or online, most of the videos found about them are from small youtubers.
• The series overall sales were not good, meaning a lot of people are not aware of the game. Though there can be cases where a game didn't sell well yet it is immensely infamous. Those cases would not apply.
• The sales could be good but good in the context of the creator. For example, Motorslice was effectively a massive success for the two indie creators as there was no immense budget for the game, despite only receiving 3,000 reviews. This would still count as an obscure series as this is not a game anyone would automatically know about.
• Games under cult followings or cult classics are normally decently obscure. As a cult following normally means a niche crowd. Though this does need to be more looked into. For example, The Emperor's New Groove has a cult following, however, a lot of people know this movie and it wouldn't exactly be considered obscure.
• The series has no wiki whatsoever or a very small wiki that's barely updated on.
• New works do not count until about a year passes to see if they've grown in popularity.

If an obscure series ever jumps into immense popularity, the character would be taken off this category.
