Battle Record Explanation
The Street Fighter series has many different arcade stories and only some of them are canonized while others aren't. There are even cases where some were initially canonized then retconned, such as Charlie Nash's story where he died in his Alpha 2 ending[4], but was seen alive in all of the Alpha 3 endings[5] but then re-retconned in Street Fighter V to have his Alpha 2 ending be his canon death[6].
Thus the only real battle records that are listed are rival battles per arcade as each one normally has some cutscene to notify they have happened. The only exceptions are Charlie's in Alpha 3 as his existence in that game is retconned, M. Bison's in Alpha 3 as it leads to the bad ending which is non-canon, Ingrid in Alpha 3 MAX's as she isn't considered canon, Evil Ryu in Alpha 3 and Street Fighter IV as he's a non-canon what-if route, and Oni Akuma in Street Fighter IV as he's another non-canon what-if route.
Do NOT list battle records for characters defeating each other during arcade mode that has no cutscenes as those are randomized and hold no narrative weight.
