Background

Surf is the main protagonist of the high-speed action side-scroller, SKYPEACE. Surf is an energetic boy who lives in a town far, far away from the giant world-class city of Eden, run by the KOTOBUKI Enterprise. In recent times, the rich people living in Eden have begun to pollute the skies by throwing away treasures they no longer find valuable, which calls Surf to action.

Although he spends most of his days eating at the Fil Rouge sweets shop, Surf one day decided that he could gather this discarded treasure, and use it to financially support the lives of everyone in his village. Surf, and his childhood best friend Pure, obtained Flying Boards made using ancient technology, and used them to soar above the clouds in search of treasures; all the while avoiding attacks from KOTOBUKI's technological battalion.
