Background

Yang Xiao Long is one of the protagonists of RWBY. She is a Huntress, having been trained at the now-defunct Beacon Academy. Her weapons of choice are a pair of Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets, Ember Celica.

She is the sister of Ruby Rose, and is shown to have access to a Semblance known as "Burn". This ability allows her to absorb kinetic energy, and in return, redirects the amount of force she's taken, doing twice the damage.

Intelligence: Gifted combat-wise (Yang has extended experience and intelligence in combat, keeping up with characters like Mercury or larger monsters, even if they were seemingly stronger than her, just due to her skill and usage of her Semblance. She was also trained further with her father, a professional huntsman, and has now gotten even more skilled than she was before)

Standard Tactics: She leads physically, blocking attacks with her aura and absorbing physical strikes, before letting it all out on her opponent, typically one-shotting them.

Weaknesses: She is hot-headed, although this was somewhat resolved later in the story. She has also gained PTSD about losing her arm against Adam Taurus, resulting in her being distracted, alongside her arm shaking. Her Aura and Semblance can be drained if given enough damage, or if she's used too much of her semblance. This will also apply when she is resisting attacks, such as extreme colds or heats.
