Background

Ronald Weasley was an English pureblood wizard, possessing a great knowledge of the wizarding world. Ron was enrolled into Hogwarts School of Witcraft and Wizardry in 1991 at the young age of 11 and was sorted into Gryffindor house, much like his older brothers that came before him. Ron often felt like many people had large expectations on him, due to his long line of siblings that were quite successful during their years at Hogwarts. Ron quickly became friends with the one and only Harry Potter while they travelled to school. During their trip to Hogwarts they also met Hermione Granger, his future wife. Much like Harry, Ron initially didn't get along with Hermione, seeing her as an insufferable know-it-all. However, this changed on Halloween of 1991, when they saved Hermione from a mountain troll and became best friends for the rest of their lives.

Often the glue that held the trio together, Ron was a talented and gifted wizard and assisted Harry and Hermione on many of their journeys throughout their school lives. In his first year at Hogwarts, Ron assisted Harry and Hermione in retrieving the Philosopher's Stone from Voldemort, guiding them through Professor McGonagall's giant, enchanted chess set in the 'best-played game of chess Hogwarts has seen in many years'. In his second year, Ron faced his intense fear of spiders as he ventured into the Forbidden Forest with Harry in order to meet the Acromantula Aragog to clear Hagrid's name and confirm that he didn't open the Chamber of Secrets and attack the muggleborn students. Ron also helped rescue his sister Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets.

In Ron's third year at Hogwarts, he had learned that his pet rat Scabbers was, in fact, Peter Pettigrew - the man who betrayed Lily and James Potter and sold them out to Voldemort - in disguise. Ron's friendship with Hermione was also disrupted during this period due to her aquiring a new pet cat named Crookshanks. His friendship with Harry was temporarily ended in his fourth year when Harry was chosen to be the fourth competitor in the Triwizard Tournament out of jealousy, but this frienship was quickly repaired after the First Task.

Ron was also vital in Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts, being one of the only people to stand by and support Harry throughout the year when the Ministry made him out to be an attention-seeking maniac, due to his truthful claims that Lord Voldemort had returned. Ron also helped infiltrate the Ministry at the end of the year to supposedly save Sirius Black, unaware that they were being tricked by Voldemort into retrieving a prophecy. In his sixth year at school, Ron participated in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower and fought many Death Eaters, surviving the battle without many injuries.

Ron never completed his seventh year at Hogwarts, owing to him accompanying Harry and Hermione in the Horcrux hunt, the latter of whom he initiated a romantic relationship with. After helping to infiltrate the Ministry and retrieve the locket Horcrux, Ron found that it had a significant and negative influence on him, due to his many insecurities. His attitude soured until his emotions boiled over, resulting in an intense row where he abruptly abandoned him, leaving Harry and Hermione alone for many weeks.

However, Ron eventually came to his senses and tried to return, finding his friends in time to rescue Harry from drowning and destroy a Horcrux with the Sword of Gryffindor. Ron participated in the Battle of Hogwarts, coming up with a plan to destroy one of Voldemort's Horcruxes and defending the house elves of the castle. He fought bravely through the war and survived without serious injuries, witnessing Voldemort's final defeat.

After the war, Ron married Hermione and fathered two children with her, Rose and Hugo Granger-Weasley.

Voldemort has flown from Austria to the English Channel in a very short time, created a lightning bolt which spread throughout the clouds and should be superior to other wizards, who have created objects that have been compared to shooting stars. Even if these aren’t truly shooting stars, they should be comparable in speed to be noticed at all in the atmosphere.)
