“ | Vehemoth Phosbat
Tectupervus pteromys Aerodentia family It is forced to live in darkness due to its extreme photosensitivity. The specialized chromatophores on its skin can absorb faint light sources to turn completely transparent. Its wings and spines are covered in mildly toxic scales that paralyze small insects until it can inhale them with a powerful vortex. Often, creatures that evolve in darkness have atrophied eyes and albinism, but that is notably not the case here. It does, however, share a tendency to only venture out at night with other cave dwellers.'' |

Background
The Vehemoth Phosbat (オオバケカガミ) is the second boss in Pikmin 3, and the mysterious entity that originally opposed Charlie in the Distant Tundra. It is a large, bioluminescent moth-like creature with massive orange wings, yellow eyes, small stumpy limbs, and a large gaping whale-like mouth. IT can camouflage its body in dark areas which is how it originally snuck up on Charlie. After its death, the crew rescue Charlie and is rewarded with the Heroine's Tear.
Statistics
Tier: At least 10-C, likely 10-A
Name: Vehemoth Phosbat
Origin: Pikmin
Sex: Varies

Attack Potency: At least Below Average Human level+, likely Athlete level (Restrained and ate Charlie, and can easily eat pikmin. Hit a lightbulb hard enough to shake the cavern)
Dimensionality: 3-D
Travel Speed: At least Superhuman, likely Supersonic (Superior to Olimar and Alph, who can maneuver and keep pace with the gunfire from Man at Legs)
Combat Speed: Supersonic (Should be comparable to lesser enemies. Can keep up with Alph and his squad)
Reaction Speed: At least Supersonic

Stamina: High (Can keep pace with the pikmin. Is active throughout the day and night)
Range: Below Average Melee Range, higher with Vacuum Manipulation and Poison Manipulation
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Small Size (Type 1), Flight, Camouflage (Can absorb light pigments to cloak its body), Natural Weaponry (With its wings and mouth), Consumption and Vacuum Manipulation (Ate Captain Charlie and can create a powerful vacuum to suck up prey), Poison Manipulation and Paralysis Inducement (Emits a poisonous gas from its wings that paralyze those hit), Life Manipulation and Summoning (The Vehemoth Phosbat can create phosbat pods and activate them at will), Resistance to Extreme Colds (Lives in the Distant Tundra and hunts at night), Time Stop and Magnetism Manipulation (All enemies on PNF-404 are immune to the magnetic field which stops time in the underground dungeons), Sound Manipulation and Empathic Manipulation (Unaffected by Alph and Brittany's whistle. Other enemies, like the Antenna Beetle's whistle-like sound, can control the Pikmin which captains are superior to)
Standard Equipment: None notable
Intelligence: Animalistic (Seems to lack enough understanding to the point where if the enemy runs away or hides and is out of the Vehemoth Phosbat's sight, they will pace the surrounding area. It acts completely on instinct)
Weaknesses: Too much exposure to light will strain its physical performance and prevent it from cloaking, along with killing its offspring
