'''Lakilester''' (self-nicknamed '''Michael''', '''Spike''', and '''Jonathan''' (Japanese version only)) is a Lakitu who is the eighth and last party member to join [[Mario]]'s party in ''Paper Mario''. Lakilester is a portmanteau of Lakitu and Lester, and is probably a pun on "lackluster". Lakilester joins Mario's team after he is defeated by the plumber, as well as abandoning the antagonists to do so. This trait is later carried on with Vivian from the sequel, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His appearance is no different than an ordinary Lakitu, besides sporting a pair of shades and having more hair than a ordinary Lakitu's 3-lined hair. Lakilester also has a habit of saying "man" in most of his sentences to somewhat sound "cool" in most of his cases. | |||

Background
Lakilester (self-nicknamed Michael, Spike, and Jonathan (Japanese version only)) is a Lakitu who is the eighth and last party member to join Mario's party in Paper Mario.

This caused the final battle between Mario and Bowser to actually not even have a plot, as the final pages to their entire story were ripped, meaning Bowser literally tore off the plot, which Bombette battled on), Self-Sustenance (Type 1; Can breathe in space), Non-Physical Interaction (Can harm ghosts and interact with Lady Bow), Wish Granting & Truth Manipulation (The Star Spirits grant wishes to those who are deemed as good and towards people all over the world), Martial Arts (Defeated The Master and his pupils within their dojo), Paint Manipulation which includes: Life Manipulation & Death Manipulation (Paint is all of life, and removal of it can cause a person or object to have no life within, having their concept of life be removed), Blood Manipulation (Paint makes up all of blood within someone, removing it is the same as removing their blood), Mind Manipulation & Memory Manipulation (Paint makes up the mind, as paint beings can directly speak to your mind by coloring your thoughts.
