Background

Pico is one of the mascots of Newgrounds created by Tom Fulp. He originated as the Protagonist in Pico's School and continued to appear in many other games throughout Newgrounds history such as Pico vs Uberkids, Pico Vs Bear, Resident Pico, and Friday Night Funkin'. In Pico's School, he was as an ordinary kid until Cassandra, the leader of Goth Punks decided to rebel against the school with violence. Pico manages to beat all of the Goth Punks but is left with untreated schizophrenia and became homicidal after the events of Pico's School. In Pico's school: Love Conquers all which takes place in an alternate timeline, Pico was able to stop the Goth Punks from rebelling against the school by talking to them and helping them redeem themselves. In Pico Vs Uberkids, Pico, Nene, and Darnel are chosen to be used to test the Uberkids in a Competition. Pico chooses to compete in Rock Paper Scissors Roulette and all the Uber kids have lost in the end despite being genetically made to be superior. In Pico Vs Bear, Pico is recruited by a Policeman to stop a Bear named Big Brown Barry that is terrorizing and killing children, Pico was a fan of the bear before but now put his feelings behind to stop Big Brown Barry. In Resident Pico there's an army of Zombies attacking the town but Pico kills them all by himself. Many years after the events of the Pico games, Daddy Dearest is humiliated by Boyfriend after losing a rap battle and hires Pico to kill him. Pico however knew Boyfriend in the past and decided to rap battle against him instead of immediately killing him with his gun. In week 7, Pico is hired again by Girlfriend's parents in order to get Boyfriend's dead body but he defies them again and ends up defending them as he kills tankmen trying to attack.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Accelerated Development, Weapon Mastery (Is experienced at using guns), Healing (Medicinal Herbs can heal Pico from gunshots and slices from a sword), Limited Water Manipulation (Can spray water with the fire extinguisher to put out a fire), Enhanced Senses (The Night Vision Goggles allow Pico to see things in the dark), Social Influencing (Was able to stop Cassandra's revolt against the school in an alternate timeline), Resurrection (Pico died in Pico joins the army, and later appears in the series completely fine in games like Friday Night Funkin'. This is a reoccurring theme in Pico as character's like Nene have died multiple times yet still ended up being in school with the herpes. Darnel died as a kid here before the events of Pico's School but ends up being in Pico's School 2 and Friday Night Funkin' completely fine. It is likely done like this as characters like Nene resurrect right after they killed themselves and ended up going t school on the same day regardless and completely fine)

Intelligence: Gifted (It is stated that Pico officially has 127 IQ. He's skilled enough to conquer to world with only 3 other characters through combat as the Ghettobots are strictly designed to just fight and be a fear to humans. Pico not only defeated the Ghettobots who greatly surpass human limits in stats and the Penillians but was seen as such a threat that the entire Penillian species did not dare to even come near earth again until he naturally died of age to come back to earth to attack a second time. The Penillians are able to kill military soldiers and destroy tanks casually in UFA but still dared not to go against Pico until he died of age. He was able to become a professional assassin as a kid and was even considered one of the best despite being a young kid. He is able to use the environment to his advantage as seen in Pico vs Bear, and think of quick solutions to save himself like when Bear was going to blow himself and the house up in just a few seconds while Pico was trapped inside. He was able to take advantage of weak points like Cassandras eyes to prevent her from shooting energy projections and fight against other characters like Hanzou and Alucard in combat despite never engaging in combat before as well as being able to use a gun effectively with no training or prior knowledge.)

Standard Tactics: Pico shoots in multiple games such as Pico's School and Pico Vs Bear and he sings in Friday Night Funkin'

Weaknesses: Pico is a daredevil as shown in Pico vs Uberkids (Took 2 shots instead of 1 on his turn of Rock Paper Scissors Roulette). If Pico is beaten in a rap battle, he will have his bones shattered. However, this is only a weakness in-verse as this is a specific ability all users in Friday Night Funkin' share.

Note: Pico's School is Canon to Friday Night Funkin'. It has even been approved by Tom Fulp who called it official Pico lore while Ninjamuffin called it Friday Night Funkin' lore and their relationship is not a joke. Pico is even shown with Boyfriend in Pico's School: Love Conquers All which is only a timeline split due to Pico simply talking about a band he likes which stopped the shooting all together, which would confirm Boyfriend exists in the main universe too. Its even stated to be a retelling of that exact same event and everything prior is the same as the main universe where Friday Night Funkin' and Pico's School takes place. It has even been confirmed multiple times that they were exes in the main universe.

Note 2: The reason that Pico is scaled through rap battles is that rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin against Boyfriend, even characters that clearly wants to kill/possess him no longer can after the rap battle over. The husband also is one of the people that wants him dead as he directly sent a bounty hunter after him. It’s also shown the loss of a rap battle breaks the Boyfriend’s bones. Showing losing a rap battle does more than just simply end it. Thus rap battles should be fine to use for scaling. There's also implications of more going on in rap battles too.
