~ Boromir |
Background
Boromir is a primary protagonist of The Lord of the Rings. He is a man of the Kingdom of Gondor from the Third Age, serving as the Commander of Gondor's military and the eldest son of the Ruling Steward of Gondor, Denethor II. At the behest of his father, Boromir travelled to Rivendell, where he became one of the members of the Fellowship of the Ring.
Though valorous and powerful, Boromir's main quest was not to destroy The One Ring of Sauron in Mount Doom, but instead to take it to Gondor and use it against Sauron's forces. This plan was turned on its head, however, as The One Ring corrupted Boromir's mind and made him antagonistic towards his allies. He eventually redeemed himself by protecting the Hobbits until his death.

Golden Belt of Lórien
- Horn of Gondor: Also known as the Great Horn, it was an heirloom of the House of Húrin. Blowing the horn holds many different meanings. It can be used for celebration, as seen when Boromir sounded the horn after he'd been chosen to join the Fellowship of the Ring. But it can also be used for warning or a cry for help, seen during Boromir's last stand.

Other
Standard Tactics: Boromir usually leads with powerful sword strikes designed to break an opponent's guard, or dismember them. He always strikes to kill as fast and efficiently as possible. If Boromir feels as though his life is in danger, he will use the Horn of Gondor to call for aid.
Weaknesses: Boromir's desire to protect Gondor and his people leads him to be easily corruptible, and has such been seen as antagonistic on many an occasion.
