Video Game
Scott Pilgrim is in love with Ramona Flowers but...He must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends
~ The game's intro

Background

Scott Pilgrim is the main protagonist of the video game Reactive Adaptation, which is being released during the Holidays of 2020 by Ubisoft. After instantly falling in love with Ramona Flowers, the two of them, along with Kim Pines, Stephen Stills, Knives Chau, and Wallace Wells, travel throughout Toronto Canada to defeat Ramona's Seven Evil Ex boyfriends.

Unlike other Reactive Adaptations, Scott Pilgrim and co are far more ambiguous in detail such as age. However Scott is still required to face Nega Scott, who represents his past mistakes and obliviousness towards those mistakes, and is only accepted once Ramona looks past Scott's flaws and helps him improve as a person.

Statistics

Tier: At least 9-B, likely 9-A | 6-A

Name: Scott Pilgrim

Origin: Scott Pilgrim

Sex: Male

Age: Between 22 and 24

Classification: Human, Musician, Gamer

Attack Potency: At least Wall level, likely Room level (Defeated Matthew Patel in combat with relative ease and dwarfs basic grunts who can completely incinerate people) | Continent level (Defeated Todd Ingram who punched the same two holes in the moon like in the comics)

Dimensionality: 3-D

Travel Speed: At least Peak Human | Unknown (Flew above the clouds with Ramona at an unknown speed)

Combat Speed: Superhuman (Preformed a 130 hit combo in seconds) | FTL (Comparable to Ramona who can parry flashes from a camera. Bested Todd in combat, who was able to move to the moon at these speeds. Scales to Nega Scott who took over the universe in a short timeframe)

Reaction Speed: Superhuman | FTL

Lifting Strength: Peak Human (Can throw six grown men) | Class 5 (Can lift entire cars with ease)

Striking Strength: At least Wall Class, likely Room Class | Continent Class

Durability: At least Wall level, likely Room level (Can tank attacks from Matthew Patel) | Continent level (No-selled a vegan nuke from Todd Ingram)

Stamina: High (Can fight armies of enemies for days on end and still be in peak condition to fight the evil exes)

Range: Standard Melee Range with standard attacks to Extended Melee Range with special attacks, Tens of Meters with optional equipment, Multiversal with Dimensional Travel & Subspace Manipulation (The size of subspace expands this large)

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Martial Arts (Has several martial art techniques from games such as Street Fighter), Acrobatics, Teleportation (Can teleport in a similar fashion to Megaman), Weapon Mastery (Can utilize anything around him to be an efficient weapon such as trash cans, glass bottles, and even boxes), Breaking the Fourth Wall (Is aware he is in a game), Toon Force, Social Influencing (Was able to date Knives, Kim, and Envy all at once), Fire Manipulation and Explosion Manipulation (His attacks generate flaming explosions around him), Statistics Amplification (Various food and drinks grant minor stat amplifications. Defeating more foes will boost Knives's physical powers for a brief moment), Healing (Scott and his friends can use their special points to regain health), Flight (Has shown to be able to fly), Transmutation (Can turn people into money (and sometimes animals) upon death), Summoning and Soul Summoning, (Can summon Knives Chau and Mr.Chau along with a spiritual monster similar to the movie), Resurrection (Has extra lives that allow the characters to revive), Regeneration and Life Absorption (Low-Godly; Can steal a life from characters and reform their bodies from just a soul), Immortality (Type 3 and 6. Can survive having his entire body burnt to a crisp and regenerate just fine), Possible Personal Domain (Scott traverses a Subspace Highway nearly identical to the one he has running through his head, which is further supported by the emptiness besides the game-inspired objects), Dimensional Travel (Subspace doors allows anyone to enter Subspace), Immortality Negation (Type 3, 6, and 7. Can kill undead zombies from the graveyard along with characters like Envy who can reform from a puddle as shown later in Scott's ending), Sheer Will (Those who can access the powers of Subspace in the real world naturally require a strong will and determination to control them), Perspective Manipulation (Potent Subspace users can use the perspective-based powers of Subspace to overwrite reality to fit how they view it in the real world), Subjective Reality & Dimensional Storage (Whatever the user can imagine will be created in subspace. For instance, Scott manifested his love for Ramona as the Power of Love, which he can pull from and store in Subspace), Portal Creation & Summoning (As the powers of the characters originate from Subspace, they can create portals or summon beings and objects from their subspace), Dimensional Travel and Space-Time Manipulation (Characters can manifest doors directly to subspace, or even move between subspace and the real world through sheer force. Breaking the walls between subspace and the main universe), Resistance to Fire Manipulation and Electricity Manipulation (Takes minimal damage from having his body burnt and being electrocuted), Resistance to Pain (Can endure pain to the entire body) Space-Time Manipulation and Mind Manipulation (Unaffected by Crash and the Boy's music, which can bend space and time and force entire crowds unconscious)

All previous powers and abilities to an unknown extent. Regeneration (Low-Godly. Subspace avatars are avatars of pure cognition of one's true self and by extension can be restored by the true form at will), Immortality (Type 3, 5, 6, and 8. Subspace avatars are avatars of pure cognition of one's true self and by extension can be restored by the true form at will. Concepts such as death are irrelevant to them as even if one dies they will just be sent into subspace. Even spirits can freely pass through and from Subspace. All damage done to a subspace avatar means nothing to them, Scott could lose his limbs in subspace and be cut in half and would still be perfectly fine), Acausality (Type 3. Subspace is a different space-time where all rules are different (including death), thus it should by extension be a different system of causality), Perspective Manipulation (Perception is Law. People, items, and Mind Subspace itself are based on the nature of the person's mind, therefore, however, a person imagines Subspace is how it will appear. A good example is Scott's Dream Desert: this location is repeatedly used as a metaphor for Scott's loneliness but also is his projected image of Subspace at that time which Ramona is able to pass through), Law Manipulation (One’s subspace operates under their rules and systems which can extend even to the real world with characters like Gideon affecting Ramona’s Subspace), Reality Warping & Mind Manipulation (While Mind Subspace allows for others' own projected images of themselves to take on other forms, the individual whom the Subspace resides in retains all power and control within said mind. Through this, the character can shape themselves and Subspace to their liking all through their thoughts, perspectives, and desires), Power Nullification (A user of Subspace can completely nullify any connection an opponent has in that Subspace, regardless if they're more powerful or not. This is how Ramona was able to expel Gideon despite him being a master of Subspace and able to manipulate it inside anyone's mind), Dimensional Travel (Can enter his avatars at any point if he so desires even after death)

Standard Equipment: Bass Guitar

Intelligence: Genius (Is incredibly skilled in combat and can utilize anything around him to his advantage. Is superior to Nega Scott who could rule the universe)

Weaknesses: Scott would rather forget the past and continue to make mistakes than to improve, which becomes a major conflict at the end of the game when Nega Scott is introduced.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Super Attack: A reference to Street Fighter's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. Scott spins around quickly with one leg hitting all foes near Scott
  • Tech Attack 1: A reference to Street Fighter's Fukiage. Scott uppercuts while unleashing red flaming energy from his body that launches foes into the air
  • Tech Attack 2: A reference to Street Fighter's Hayate. Scott draws back his fist and then slides forward with a lunge punch hitting all foes in his way
  • Bass Guitar: Scott uses his bass guitar to play music with the other members of Sex Bob-Omb. This allows the band to summon a giant monster to fight any opponents and play other music

Key: Level 1-2 | Level 3-7

Note: All the playable characters, despite minor in-game stat differences and altered special movesets, are nearly identical stat-wise and fight evenly
