From The Codex
You've found your river, and you're going to see where it leads.
No. No. It doesn't disappear. I don't let it. I am bigger than this story, but I am also inside the story. So I gather it up and I keep it close to me, and as soon as I remove it from causation, it's like it never happened. I take the timeline and I lock it away. That's what it is. It is a Locked Timeline, and I am its guardian. Its first guardian.

Background

The MSPA Reader is the main protagonist of Hiveswap Friendsim and Pesterquest. They crash-land on Alternia, looking for a way to make new friend.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 9-B | At least 9-B physically. Unknown with the Retcon Powers, 1-B by creating "The Blackout" | 1-B

Name: MSPA Reader, MSPAR

Origin: MS Paint Adventures

Gender: Unknown

Age: Unknown

Classification: Human(?) | First Guardian

Attack Potency: Wall level (Fought against a sewer system current strong enough to knock people off their feet while holding on to someone despite having a broken arm, killed an enraged Alternian bear) | At least Wall level (Superior to before), Unknown with the Retcon Powers (Hasn't been used offensively. Vriska Serket refers to it as "the most insanely overpowered bullshit in existence"), at least Transverse level (By retconning to many events, it will create "The Blackout", an event that will bring all of existence to utter ruin, capable of doing more damage than the Scratch, which is a hard reboot on all of existence) | Transverse level (Absorbed the Green Sun, the largest source of raw narrative in the multiverse. Is bigger than everything in existence and views it as "his story", locking it all away in a timeline)

Dimensionality: 3-D | 3-D | Ad-Infinitum

Travel Speed: Average Human | Peak Human, Extra-Temporal with the Retcon Powers (Can teleport to anywhere across time and space on a whim) | Extra-Temporal

Combat Speed: Average Human | Peak Human | Extra-Temporal

Reaction Speed: Average Human | Peak Human | Extra-Temporal

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Wall Class | At least Wall Class | Transversal

Durability: Wall level (Survived being hit by a car, crashing on Alternia and fighting against a sewer system. Possess the same durability as a Oliveblood, which make him more durable than character like Vikare, who casually survive falling from a cliff) | At least Wall level. Acausality and Reality Seperation makes him hard to kill | Transverse level

Stamina: Very high (Can walk several blocks despite having a broken arm, broken ribs, and several other injuries without getting tired) | Likely limitless

Range: Standard Melee, High Multiverse level with his spaceship | Standard Melee, Transverse level | Transverse level

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Pain Resistance, Immortality (Types 6 and 8: Can survive injuries that would be fatal to the normal person for long amounts of time without treatment. If he would to fail or die, Doc Scratch will reset the timeline), likely Dimensional Travel with his spaceship (Is implied to have flown his own spaceship to Alternia, which is in a separate universe from Earth), Social Influencing (Can befriend almost everyone they come across, even remorseless serial killers. However it's because of Doc Scratch's powers and influence), Breaking the Fourth Wall (Was able to talk extensively with Marvus Xoloto about the nature of their fictional continuity in Volume 16, constantly refers to it by mentioning sprites, volumes or bad end), limited Resistance to Memory Manipulation (Can remember things from timelines which have been reset) | All previous powers to a greater extent, Reality Warping and Information Manipulation (Using his wind powers, he can clear away stardust glitches, which are literal glitches across the Narrative), Plot Manipulation, Immersion, Teleportation, Dimensional Travel and Time Travel (Using the Retcon Powers, he can go anywhere across the narrative, as well as any other point in space-time, even places that don't exist, other timelines and multiverses, places that were erased and/or recreated by the Scratch, in-verse fiction, metaphysical realms, and even outside of canon itself. Can be oriented to other people instead of places, and even places he doesn't remember at all), Acausality (Type 5) and Reality Separation (Type 4: Is completely unstuck from existence and transcends all canon, something which The Dark Gods can't do despite existing outside of causality), BFR, Reality Warping, Conceptual Manipulation, Void Manipulation, Causality Manipulation, and Existence Erasure (Can rewrite causality, similar to the of the scratch, which is a hard reboot on existence that erases everything), Fate Manipulation (Can change the forces of fate, as well a changing things that are not supposed to be changed, making it suppposed happen, and he can do all this by willing it), Resistance to Plot Manipulation, Space-Time Manipulation, Memory Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Law Manipulation, and Causality Manipulation (Retcon users are unaffected by Stardust Glitches, which are literal glitches in reality and make characters forget events. Retcon users are unbound by the ties of causality and fate as well as the rules of Paradox Space.) | All previous powers to a greater extent, Abstract Existence (Type 2: Is described to be a consciousness floating in the causation of miasma), Cosmic Awareness (Able to look back at his failures),

Standard Equipment: Spaceship | The Retcon Powers | The Narrative

Intelligence: Average, as most of his actions only were successful because of Doc Scratch's influence. | High, was able to help the kids and trolls through his influence, also has the knowledge of every of his doomed selves as well as a full knowledge of Homestuck and some other works | Likely Cosmic (Able to view the entire narrative)

Standard Tactics: The MSPA Reader will go for Social Influencing | As before | Unknown

Weaknesses: Is incredibly naive and desperate to make friends, even at the risk of their own health | Using the Retcon Powers too much will create the blackout
