Background

Agni (アグニ, Aguni) is the titular protagonist of Fire Punch manga. He is a Blessed with an extraordinarily strong level of regeneration powers. When his village is burned by Doma's flame that never extinguishes until its fuel perishes, Agni's body continuously regenerates itself within the flame, making nearly his entire body constantly on fire. In this state, after the 8 years it takes him to get used to the excruciating pain, he sets out on a journey to avenge the loss of the things and people dear to him.
