Background
Skid and Pump originate from the "Spooky Month" webseries, a series of annual Halloween-themed animations by Sr. Pelo that started in 2018. They are known for their love for the Spooky Month (regardless of what month it actually is), their adventures in their hometown that leads to unintentional trouble and good-natured chaos, and their infamous dance move known as the "Spooky Dance."

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Superhuman Speed, Broadway Force (When doing the Spooky Dance or even announcing it's the Spooky Month, they force everyone else to dance. Including dead people, spirits, demons, and monsters, and people from far distances. This also works on both a murderer and the victim and robbers. It also makes the person briefly ignore their surroundings, and can affect Lovecraftian beings such as the eyes of the universe), Passive Social Influencing (Their social influencing constantly prevents harm. Frank is known for kidnapping peoplefor simply interacting with him. However, the duo never seems to be captured. Mr. Clown was revealed to knock out and kidnap at least 11 people for no reason. Yet he'll leave the duo unharmed. The duo also bought the Happy Fella, which was stated to absorb and trap the souls of people but Skid and Pump remained fine with it throughout the whole video), Possibly Information Analysis (Was able to instantly recognize Bob Velseb in a picture from his Mom's childhood. It should be noted that they have only seen him in a costume and acknowledged their hide and seek game from here. It is also greatly implied to actual be him), Stealth Mastery (Can successfully hide from Bob Velseb and escape him trying to kill them and he is able to notice very subtle noises by people he is chasing), Weapon Usage (Pump used a hammer to break down a door as shown here), Summoning & Possession (Can summon a demon that posses people. Standard Tactics: Skid and Pump will start with their Spooky Month dance, which results in using Broadway Force that inflicts on their enemy. They will proceed to then sing, if the opponent does not sing back, their bones will crack.
Weaknesses: They are both naive and gullible due to both being children.
Note: Spooky Month is treated as connected with Friday Night Funkin' due to Boyfriend making a cameo on two instances. While they never show him directly, Boyfriend's actions have made him be considered popular within his game. This is likely the reason as to why merchandise and costumes were made based off of him, showing that he exists within the videos. It should also be noted that their creator, Sr. Pelo, gave the developers full consent to do what they want with his characters to be added in the game.
Note 2: The reason characters in Friday Night Funkin' share the same hax from singing is because rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin' and they have been shown to be deadly as Boyfriend breaks his bones through losing these battles and requires Girlfriend to rewind time so he can try again after his skeleton cracks and he dies. (The NSFW part specifically is a joke, Girlfriend revives him by setting the battle to the beginning just by sitting down on the speakers and can even do it while Boyfriend holds her as shown here.) The official itch.io page directly states that characters such as Daddy Dearest are trying to kill him and not to die in the instructions with the only way of dying being to lose a rap battle. Daddy Dearest also hired Pico as a bounty hunter to kill Boyfriend and there are implications of even more going on during rap battles in canon. Characters that very clearly want to kill/possess Boyfriend and Girlfriend on the spot such as Monster and Spirit lead with starting a rap battle and singing. Boyfriend survives all of these situations unharmed by winning the rap battles. Tankman even implies that boyfriend was killed by losing the rap battle itself and not to mention every character has a death icon when they are pushed all the way to the end of the bar that shows who is winning the rap battle. That same bar is also directly called a health bar by Phantom Arcade.
