The Ruler is the playable character of Disney Dreamlight Valley. They are the ruler of Dreamlight Valley and must fix it due to an event known as the forgetting taking over the whole valley making the villagers run away to their relams and destroying houses and such.

- Royal Watering Can: A Watering can that never needs to be refilled and give life to death plants, it also has the power to draw the memories held by water. It was later enchanted to be able to remove Night Mushroom, extinguish green flames and to remove debris frozen in time
- Royal Fishing Rod: A fishing rod that needs no bait and never gets snagged, it's stated to be able to fish what lies at the bottom of the deepest sea
- Royal Shovel: A shovel...a good one, it was later upgraded to be able to remove lagre tree stumps, shatter large wildebeast bones and and to remove debris frozen in time
- Royal Hourglass: The Royal Hourglass is a Royal Tool used for solving puzzles and finding hidden treasure. It can sense the location of treasure, and overcome puzzles by manipulating time.
- Phone: A Phone that the Ruler can use to take pictures, it was later upgraded to be able to undo the Fairy Godmother's enchantments

- Cold of Winter potion: A potion crafted using ice chunks, an ice bouquet, snowballs and a vial of freezing water.
- Shapeshifting Enchantment: A potion crafted using white impatiens and purified night shards. It can enchant an object in order to allow the user to shapeshift, such as allowing Ariel to turn human.
