Background

Thunder and Storm are the sixth Sanctuary Boss in MOTHER 2 (localized as EarthBound) and guard the sixth Your Sanctuary, Pink Cloud. While they are technically two entities, Thunder and Storm fight as one and share a single HP pool and moveset. They tend to take deep breaths before using their devastating "intertwine" attack, so Ness and his friends will always have fair warning. After being defeated, the way is clear for Ness to record the Pink Cloud's melody.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Power Absorption (All “Your Sanctuary” bosses suck all of the energy out of each sanctuary spot), Weather Manipulation (Can create a storm), Light Manipulation, Status Effect Inducement, Mind Manipulation, Durability Negation, & One Hit KO (Summoning a storm induces PSI Flash B which induces uncontrollable crying, feeling strange, paralysis, or instant KO), Electricity Manipulation (Can use a Crashing Boom Bang attack, which is the equivalent of PSI Thunder B).
Resistance to Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Paralysis Inducement, Mind Manipulation, and Sleep Manipulation (Has a low resistance to PSI Fire & Freeze. Has a 50% resistance to hypnosis. Has a high resistance to brainshock. Immune to paralysis)

Standard Tactics: They will either bash or rush and intertwined with the target, after a couple of turns they will summon a storm.
