| “ | Son Goku, you will fight me now. All of our circuits were built in order to defeat you. You cannot escape from this place alive. | „ |
| “ | Number 13... That's your unlucky number. And I ain't talkin' about no silly superstition, city-boy. I'm talkin' about yours truly; Big 13! | „ |
Android 13 is Dr. Gero's thirteenth Android creation. He is designed to continue Gero's vendetta against Goku, who overthrew the Red Ribbon Army as a child.
Cell notes that Android 13 may be a prototype to him, due to his ability to absorb other Androids.
While the main timeline version of him was destroyed by Gero, the parallel world Android 13 makes his debut as the main antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!.

He was developed by Dr. Gero at some point before the Androids Saga. Along with Android 14 and Android 15, Android 13 was quite close to the final Android form; however, like their predecessors they had one problem or another and as such were destroyed by Dr. Gero. Even though Android 13, Android 14, and Android 15 are not featured in the Dragon Ball manga, the "Androids A-B-C's" section mentions that Androids 13, 14, and 15 were very close to the Android concept, being near perfect. Android 13 is completed by Dr. Gero's self-aware supercomputer after Android 14 and Android 15, who by this time are already taking up arms against Goku and Future Trunks. Upon his arrival on the Glacier, 13 confronts Goku, leaving Future Trunks and Vegeta to fight against 14 and 15 respectively. During his fight with Goku, he has the utmost confidence he will surely win the battle and seems to have a slight edge over him. Goku then transforms into a Super Saiyan in hopes to turn the tables, but 13 is still able to fight on par with him if not still having the edge. Shortly after which Piccolo intervenes to assist Goku. Ultimately, 14 and 15 are defeated, following Future Trunks and Vegeta's transformations into Super Saiyans; their deaths are fail-safe, however, as 13 absorbs components from both, resulting in his transformation into Super Android 13. Vegeta is the first to attack the newly transformed 13, only to quickly be brought to his knees by his amazing new strength. Goku, Future Trunks, and Piccolo's attempts are also foiled with little effort on 13's part. Becoming desperate to kill 13, Goku is forced to prepare his ultimate weapon, the Spirit Bomb, while Krillin, Vegeta, Gohan and Future Trunks distract 13. Super Android 13 easily dispatches them (in the Funimation dub, he informs Goku that he knows about his Spirit Bomb technique). He begins charging up his S.S. Deadly Bomber when Piccolo charges at 13 and puts him in a Full Nelson. Super Android 13 quickly counters it and begins crushing Piccolo's head, but he stops short when he notices Goku's Spirit Bomb charging. When Goku transforms into his Super Saiyan form, his body absorbs the Spirit Bomb's immense energy and erases the surrounding ice until the land 13 is standing on is nothing more than a singular pillar. When 13 tries to attack Goku, his arms end up incinerated by the raw energy emitted from Goku and the Spirit Bomb. Afterward, one punch from Goku disintegrates 13, with help from the ki Goku emits (in the edited dub, Goku merely kicks Super Android 13 away before the latter is destroyed, due to the punch impaling the android's stomach being cut out). 13 dies while yelling Goku's name (in FUNimation's dub, he curses that Goku must die). Consequentially at the same moment, Gero's supercomputer shuts down. |

Age: Unknown
Classification: Secret Android
Species: Android

Alignment: Lawful Evil (13 is an android designed by Gero to kill Goku, following his orders)
Key: Android 13 | Super Android 13
Grade: B | B
Tier: 7-A. Varies-E with Strongest Charged Blast | At least 7-A. Varies-E with Strongest Charged Blast
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Power Source: Ki (All beings in Dragon Ball[1][2][3] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[4], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[5] block attacks that would otherwise[6] kill them from[7] raising their guard[8], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[9])
Attack Potency: Metropolis level (Potency) (With a single blast, sent Son Goku flying far back. Superior to Android 14 and Android 15 both of whom could beat down Son Goku. This Goku is after the events of the Cooler movies, putting him far above Nappa who casually destroyed a city and stood within the blast without having any damage, and Raditz who can cause explosions dwarfing the mountains, which results in these levels of energy). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast (Charged Blast have one focus all of their energy into one single point[10], putting the blasts power far beyond what their peak strength is[11], allowing them to destroy things they couldn't prior with their regular attacks[12], this also allows them to use charged attacks that can stop enemies far beyond their level, such as Tien Shinhan pushing back Semi-Perfect Cell with his Neo Ki-Ko-Ho[13], along with stopping an attack shot from Buu absorbed Gotenks[14]. Strongest charged blast can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[15], with blasts capable of[16] seriously damaging/destroying[17] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[18]. Charged Blast also rely heavily on emotional states for example Gohan not believing in himself[19] was having Cell overpower him in a beam clash[20]) | At least Metropolis level (Potency) (Casually stomped all of the Z-fighters including Son Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Son Gohan, and Krillin). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast
Durability: Metropolis level | At least Metropolis level
Striking Strength: Metropolis Class (Potency) | At least Metropolis Class (Potency)
Lifting Strength: Class 25 (Superior to Android Saga Super Saiyan Vegeta, who trained in 300 times gravity, where Vegeta is naturally 56 kg, making him 16,800 kg or 16.8 tons) | Class 25
Travel Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Superior to Super Saiyan Goku on Namek, who previously in his base form traveled from Frieza's ship over to Vegeta in this timeframe) | At least Massively Hypersonic
Attack Speed: Massively Hypersonic | At least Massively Hypersonic
Reaction Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Far beyond 22nd Budokai Son Goku, who could dodge a mouth blast from Tambourine, which he used to tag the flying nimbus where even post King Kai training Goku used the flying nimbus to make it to the saiyans implying it is at least comparable to his flight speed by then, with Goku being capable of traveling over a million of kilometers in two days which results in these speeds) | At least Massively Hypersonic
Stamina: Limitless (As an android created by Gero, he has access to an infinite energy supply)
Range: Standard Melee, Interstellar with Ki Attacks (Ki attacks can reach out of the planet and to other planets. All ki attacks should be comparable to Goku's kamehameha, which reached all the way to the sun)
Intelligence: Gifted Intelligence (An android created by Dr. Gero which means it's most likely outfitted with various different battle strategies and the ability to analyze their opponents and find out their weaknesses)
Knowledge: Expert level
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics, Inorganic Physiology (Androids are direclty noted by Goku to be beings that he cannot ki sense because they aren't organic), Immortality (Ageless; Androids essentially have eternal life through their mechanized bodies), Flight (Able to fly like Android 14 and Android 15), Information Analysis (Should be comparable to other Androids who can analyze Goku's data), Extrasensory Perception (Androids are built in with sensors that allow them to detect very high power levels), Absorption & Transformation (Permanent Transformation; Absorbed the compotents of the destroyed Android 14 and 15 to transform into Super Android 13), Energy Projection (Shot a beam out of his finger, pushing Goku back into the water and causing the ice to quake), Fusionism (Like other characters, Android 13 can perform the Fusion Dance).
Resistance to Pain (Androids don't feel pain), Extrasensory Perception (Androids cannot be ki sensed due to not being an organic being)
Nothing notable.
Standard Tactics: Android 13 will shoot ki attacks along with use hand to hand combat, analyzing the data of his enemy during battle. As Super Android 13, he will go for a more beatdown approach, repeatedly grappling the enemy and hitting them with close ranged ki attacks.
Weaknesses
Q: What about the planetary feats in Dragon Ball?
A: Planetary feats are normally done through their strongest charged blast, where they can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[148], with blasts capable of[149] seriously damaging/destroying[150] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[151], though they themselves are never capable of leaving this unscathed.
Frieza throws a destroy the planet death ball attack but it doesn't destroy the planet. Goku then interestingly notes the reason the planet didn't blow up is because Frieza was too scared of getting caught in the blast[152] . Vegeta's final flash is noted it's going to destroy the planet and Perfect Cell, who is beyond Vegeta, couldn't tank the blast and had to dodge it last second or it would've killed him[153]. Goku's kamehameha was going to destroy the earth and Cell cannot tank this blast, needing to regenerate[154]. Semi-Perfect Cell explosion was consistently noted it was going to destroy the planet and Gohan and it killed Goku[155]. Ultimate Gohan dies to an attack that destroys the earth, his guard was up too since this was when he was fighting Super Buu[156]. Kid Buu shoots a blast trying to destroy the planet, with Vegeta noting he's going to take himself out with it if he lets it off[157]. In Dragon Ball GT, Great Ape Baby Vegeta shoots a super galick gun that he claims will destroy Earth, when Goku is hit by it, he is knocked out to the point that he can't move for a good while, Elder Kai and Shin later state that Baby is going to shoot another blast that will destroy the planet on, greatly injuring Baby if he's caught in the Blast and will kill everyone on the planet if done[158]. Frieza destroyed the entire earth, killing Vegeta in the process[159]. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't need to hold anything back and can go all out because anything that happens to the Earth can be restored with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Yet, none of Goku's all out attacks destroy the planet but just heavily causes shockwaves around it[160]. Semi-Perfect Cell unleashes a several blast that destroys several islands Android 16 notes that the attacks are just strong enough to not kill Android 18[161].
In the fight of Trunks vs. Mecha Frieza, who is far stronger than his final form, Mecha Frieza immediately goes for his strongest attack, the Supernova. In the original Z anime King Kai even states this is ten times stronger than the power he used on Namek:
