Journey of the Prairie King is a top-down shooter minigame that can be played on one of the arcade machines in The Stardrop Saloon. Based on a real-life character, it follows the story of “The Prairie King” in his quest to retrieve the “Pure Heart”.
Name: Unknown, Nicknamed “Cowboy” by the second boss and is called a “True Cowboy Hero” by the game developer
Origin: Journey of The Prairie King
Assigned Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, likely in his early to late 20’s-30’s
Classification: Cowboy, Sheriff, The Prairie King, Gunslinger
Tier: At least 9-B, likely 9-A, Higher with upgrades and power-ups
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Attack Potency: At least Wall level, likely Room level (His regular gun can easily one-shot and cause armored monsters to burst into mush and destroy a water tower with a single shot from his pistol. Likely scales to other monsters in Stardew Valley who can survive point blank explosions from Mega-Bombs, which do this much damage), Higher with “Super Gun” (An upgraded variant of the regular “Gun” that can fire three shots at once in a spread pattern)
Durability: At least Wall Level, likely Room level (Should scale to other sheriffs who tank numerous shots)
Striking Strength: At least Wall Class, likely Room Class
Lifting Strength: Unknown, possibly Class 5 (Scales to the evil outlaw who pushed a boulder the size of himself off a cliff)
Travel Speed: Athletic Human, likely Transonic (Can easily outrun several hordes of monsters and is relative to bullet fire), Higher with power-ups and upgrades
Attack Speed: At least Transonic (Carries a gun similar to a .45 Colt revolver, which can be fired at speeds anywhere between 343 m/s and 400 m/s), Higher with Power-Ups and Upgrades
Reaction Speed: At least Transonic (Views gunfire as relative to his own speed from other sheriffs)
Stamina: Superhuman (Can fight off multiple hordes of monsters without showing any signs of fatigue)
Range: Hundreds of Meters with “Gun”, Higher with power-ups
Intelligence: At least Gifted (Shown to be a remarkable marksman that can out skill and defeat the likes of other skilled cowboys and the final boss “Fector”. Quickly analyzed and found a solution to a trap set up for the Prairie King before a boulder could reach and kill him)
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Expert Marksmanship, Limited Explosion Manipulation (His gun fires with enough force to shatter and explode anything it hits), Resurrection and Immortality Negation (Type 7; Can kill undead mummies with his regular attacks)
Statistics Amplification (Various power-ups increase the sheriff's power, movement speed and rate of fire), Curtain Fire (Can fire various different spread-shots with certain power-ups in rapid succession), One Hit Kill (“Screen Nuke” kills everything on screen, can kill on contact when transformed, after using the “Tombstone”), Fear Manipulation and Immortality (Type 7; Turns the sheriff into a zombie, causing enemies to flee out of fear), Limited Electricity Manipulation and possible Blessing (Summons a bolt of lightning when activating the “Tombstone” power-up, which is implied to be the doing of Yoba), Invisibility and Teleportation (“Smoke-Bombs” allow the sheriff to teleport in a random location and become completely invisible to other enemies for a short time)
Gun, Super Gun, Power-Ups (Coffee, Heavy Machine Gun, Screen Nuke, Shotgun, Smoke Bomb, Sheriff Badge, Tombstone, Wheel)
Standard Tactics: The sheriff prefers to fight at a distance, and will use his power-ups if needed or if his opponent gets too close.
Weaknesses: Power-ups only last for a limited time
Note: As none of the power-ups are referenced by name in-game. They have been given names for the purpose of clarification.
Note 2: Since the character is stated to be based off of a real-life person that exists within the Stardew Valley universe, it’s likely that the monsters they’ve fought, likely scale to the Monsters that are found in Stardew Valley.
