Background

The Serpent is the head of the manor Alice wakes up in. His goal is to fill the place with 666 guests, so that he may be able to host a "party" to celebrate its completion.

He wishes to escape his prison so he can be worshipped by humanity. However, upon gaining his wish, he learns that humanity has already been destroyed long before he escaped and he only gets to exist outside his prison for a few short minutes before Alice absorbs him just as she did the rest of humanity.

Note

• While guests can make entire universes inside of the book, it is still within the book, and Serpent embodying the book and the pages does not make him universal in size, we directly see with Alice that her true size in the real world is large, but it is not the size of multiple universes, thus these universes serve more as pocket realities within the book that don't impact the users' size of tier for that matter. We can further see this during Serpent's transformation, where his entire body leaves the book and it is only skyscraper sized.
• Serpent would gain Alice's abilities on a lesser scale as he's her "little brother". Only being capable of storing 666 pages.

Trivia

• While Alice is loosely based off Alice from the Lewis Carrol novel Alice in Wonderland. The Serpent could be seen as a loose allusion to the Chesire Cat from the same novel, due to his relationship with Alice.
