Background
Background
The Soul series is a franchise produced by the game development company, Bandai Namco. The series first launched in 1995 with the arcade game Soul Edge (or Soul Blade in some countries), which was later ported to game consoles and officially started the franchise. Come 1998, the sequel titled Soulcalibur was massively popular, and became the new name of the franchise.
Pyrrha Alexandra is a major protagonist, turned major antagonist, of the Soulcalibur series. As the timid daughter of Sophitia Alexandra and sister of Patroklos Alexander, Pyrrha's fate was decided for her at a young age when a fragment of Soul Edge appeared in her household. Unable to live without the cursed blade from then on, Pyrrha was abducted by Tira and groomed into being the true host of Soul Edge.

Living out the two decades of her life without any knowledge of her real family, Pyrrha's cursed presence drew in many who wished to slay her. However, despite the intervention of her brother wielding Soul Calibur in hopes of saving her soul, she eventually claimed Soul Edge for herself, and became the fearsome Pyrrha Ω.

Pyrrha is the daughter of the holy warrior, Sophitia Alexandra, and her blacksmith husband, Rothion. Along with her younger brother, Patroklos, Pyrrha lived a few short years of happiness in her family home until a strange customer arrived at Rothion's shop. This strange customer presented Rothion with a mysterious metallic shard, secretly being a fragment of Soul Edge, which turned the Alexandra family upside-down.

Both Pyrrha and Patroklos fought violently over the cursed fragment, which Sophitia had trouble stopping due to the wounds she had sustained after her quest to destroy Soul Edge. As time went on, eventually a young woman clad in green would appear to the family, eerily claiming that she would return when the time was right. This woman was Tira, a devote follower of the cursed sword, and Sophitia recognized her evil immediately.

Years passed, and eventually Pyrrha found herself unable to live without Soul Edge's influence. With Sophitia meeting her tragic hand in her attempt to rid her household of Malfestation and Soul Edge's influence, Tira was given free reign to invade the Alexandra home and abduct Pyrrha. For countless years to come, Pyrrha would live under Tira's guidance.

With no memory of her real family, Pyrrha was passed from one family to the other, unable to find a stable home. Everyone who took Pyrrha in seemed to mysteriously pass away, and she feared that there was nobody in the world she could ever trust to stay with her. One night, Pyrrha found herself kidnapped by a group of slavers, who sold her to a nobleman's son named Jurgis Lozoraitis.

Although Jurgis initially took Pyrrha in as a servant, he slowly came to care for her, and then fell in love. On the day that Jurgis proposed to Pyrrha, she felt like she was the happiest woman alive. Unfortunately, like with every relationship in her life, this one would soon be severed just as horribly.

Jurgis was brutally murdered, and his body disfigured beyond belief. Pyrrha, in immense distress, was convicted of the crime and imprisoned. But before she could serve her sentence, Tira reappeared to her and offered a hand. With a heart too fragile to resist, Pyrrha took her hand and fled into the town square, where countless soldiers sought to kill her.

In retaliation, Pyrrha killed each and every last soldier who opposed her, all the while Tira egged her on. The two women fled town together and arrived in a battlefield, where Pyrrha was forced to kill more and more. The stress accumulated from all the murder was too much for Pyrrha to bear, and she collapsed. Unbeknownst to her, as she slept, her long-lost brother Patroklos appeared and fought Tira off. When Pyrrha awoke, she was in the arms of her brother.

Pyrrha, relieved to be in the presence of a family she thought lost to time forever, followed Patroklos along anywhere he went. The two encountered loads of trouble on their journey, but were okay so long as they could fight side-by-side. That was, until they arrived in a small port city, which they found engulfed in flames. Before them stood the Azure Knight, Nightmare, wielding Soul Edge.

In the presence of Soul Edge, and in an effort to defend her brother, a cursed power from within Pyrrha awoke, and she became a Malfested. Empowered by the Malfestation, Pyrrha fought off Nightmare and saved Patroklos. However, because of her transformation, Patroklos could no longer accept his sister's existence, and ran away in fear. Alone once more, Pyrrha's mind was more fragile than ever, and gave way for Tira to slither in once again.

Under both the influence of Tira and her own Malfestation, Pyrrha went on a murderous rampage throughout the burning port city. As a fight between Nightmare and Z.W.E.I. took place in the background, Tira proclaimed this as Pyrrha's chance to finally claim what was rightfully hers. Once Z.W.E.I. killed Nightmare, Pyrrha stepped in and neutralized Z.W.E.I.

At last, Soul Edge was without a host and ripe for the taking. As Tira goaded her on, Pyrrha grabbed hold of the cursed sword and watched as it transformed into the shape of her Ω Sword and Elk Shield. Pyrrha had become the new host of Soul Edge, and promised that she would collect souls for it so long as it promised to never leave her.

But then, Patroklos returned, wielding the Soul Calibur; a blessed sword designed specifically to destroy Soul Edge. After apologizing to his sister, Patroklos fought Pyrrha and managed to neutralize her. However, as he refused to kill her, the Soul Calibur retaliated against him and incased him in a tomb of ice.

When Pyrrha finally woke up, she looked on in despair as she saw Patroklos frozen in his icy prison. Pyrrha, seeing no other option, looked over to Soul Edge and prayed that it help her save her brother. She picked up the cursed blade, and while pleading for it to save Patroklos's life, she slashed away at the ice encasing him.

Finally, Patroklos was saved, and embraced his sister at last. Together, the two used Soul Edge to strike the Soul Calibur, and finally destroy both swords once and for all. At last, the world was freed from their influence, and an era of peace and freedom could finally flourish. Although Patroklos and Pyrrha both needed to atone for the horrible sins they had committed, they decided to first finally return home.

Tier: 9-B | 9-B, at least High 8-C with Soul Edge

Soulcalibur is a historical fantasy epic taking place in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, revolving around the intertwined fates of two powerful blades, and the dozens of men and women seeking them out for their own personal reasons. The cursed sword, Soul Edge, and the holy sword, Soul Calibur, are bound together by fate and act as the central forces of the entire plot.
Name: Pyrrha Alexandra | Pyrrha Ω

Most notably, in 1583, a young German soldier named Siegfried Schtauffen acquired the Soul Edge, which transformed him into the series' face villain, Nightmare. The Azure Knight, Nightmare, is a terrifyingly destructive force who acts as a constant threat in the series, whether it be Siegfried behind the mask or another elusive force. Those who wield Soul Calibur are charged with defeating Nightmare, to reign peace upon the world.
Origin: Soulcalibur

The first six mainline games of the franchise tell a cohesive story from 1583 until 1607, before the series was later given a soft reboot in the form of Soulcalibur VI, an alternative (yet majorly similar) timeline of events. The franchise has also produced a large amount of spinoff and non-canon titles, ranging from mobile games to its own Pachislot game.
Sex: Female

Terms
Age: 20 years old
*Soul Edge: Known as the cursed sword of legend, Soul Edge is a blade that had been tempered in the blood of hundreds of innocent men, and craves the souls of all living beings. It has a powerful shapeshifting ability, able to perfectly replicate the form of whatever weapon style its wielder most prefers. Along with being able to transform its host into the Azure Nightmare, it can create a pillar of dark energy known as the Evil Seed, which rains down on the world and transforms people into creatures known as the Malfested.

*Soul Calibur: A sword commonly referred to as the holy blade, specifically created to destroy the Soul Edge. It exudes divine healing powers and strengthens those who wield it. Unknown to history, however, is that the Soul Calibur was actually created using a shard of the Soul Edge, which explains why it contains similar powers of shapeshifting and replication. Despite this, however, it is entirely a holy sword and can purify the souls of virtually anyone.
Classification: Human | Malfested

*Malfested: A group of people who had become infected by the cursed power of the Soul Edge, either through exposure to the Evil Seed, or through direct contact with the Soul Edge itself. Those who become inflicted with Malfestation usually turn into deranged beasts of men, violent and destructive with no regard for even their own loved ones. The Malfested can sometimes age drastically fast, or in sometimes stop aging completely. In cases with people such as Raphael Sorel, they can essentially become vampires able to spread Malfestation to other people.

The verse has characters around Wall level with Supersonic reaction speeds, though those who wield and scale to the Soul sword reach above Large Building level. The higher echelon of characters can reach Universe level, those these are very few and far between.

This verse’s general hax include Martial Arts, Aura, Sheer Will, and Damage Boost for its regular characters, but has hax such as Power Mimicry, Reactive Adaptation, BFR, and Weather Manipulation for the Soul swords.

The canon timeline of the games is very straightforward, as the chronology of the events are generally laid out in officially-released timelines found in art books and in the games themselves.

Standard Equipment

*Ω Sword & Elk Shield: Sword and shield forged by Pyrrha's father, Rothion, from holy ore given to him by Hephaestus, the ancient Greek god of the forge. Every bit of the design was created with Sophitia in mind, and they are thus perfectly suited for her. Following Sophitia's death, Tira came into possession of this equipment and gifted it to Pyrrha.

*Soul Edge: An evil blade with a reputation for devouring souls. This weapon is also known to be a shape-shifter—which form it takes depends on its current owner. The forms it has taken are legendary, as are the souls of the renowned warriors it has consumed. After it lost its previous host, Graf Dumas, it was taken into the hands of Pyrrha. Recognizing her as its one true host, Soul Edge willingly changed forms for the first time in 24 years, and assumed the shape of Pyrrha's Ω Sword & Elk Shield.

Optional Equipment

 • Gladiatrix: A small half-circled shield on the sides, and a very thin small sword, with its name in reference to a female gladiator. The set greatly resembles that of Pyrrha's aunt, Cassandra's, Valkyrie set.
 • Aeneas: A set of golden weapons befitting of a holy warrior, with the shield being large and elegant with an intricate design on the front, whereas the sword is half-jagged and powerful. This set of a sword and shield is considered a premium weapon in Pyrrha's hands.
 • Brave One: This fairly standard-looking sword and shield combo is actually based on Cassandra's Digamma Sword & Nemea Shield. Though the shield is incredibly plain as merely a plate of iron, the sword has a large circle at its hilt, and has a curved cross-guard.
 • Baker's Daughter: Though Pyrrha herself is not the daughter of a baker, both her mother and aunt were, which explains the name perfectly, as this set of weapons was passed down to Pyrrha by her aunt Cassandra. When wielded by both Cassandra and Pyrrha alike, this equipment set is seen as their joke weapon. The "sword" is a rolling pin for dough, while the "shield" is the cover of a basket. As expected, they are not well-suited for battle.

Other

Weaknesses: Soul Calibur can be destroyed fairly easily if struck in the correct spots, and can let out maelstroms of power too immense for Patroklos's body to withstand.
