Fire Trooper is a former GSG9 (German Counter-terrorism Police Unit) member and later Outer Heaven mercenary, who is skilled with flamethrowers. During his time at Outer Heaven he guarded Building 2's basement to rooftop evaluator. He fought against Solid Snake in an attempt to stop him from getting out of Building 2's basement but was defeated and killed by him.
