These twin brothers, from the Animal Crossing: New Leaf game, operate the Nookling stores. Thanks to Tom Nook's teachings, they are just as talented as he is and run Nookling Junction with such success that it can expand several times. Despite their success, they never forget the core value of good customer service.

Background

Timothy Nook & Thomas Nook, often known simply as Timmy and Tommy, and collectively known as the Nooklings or T&T, are twin raccoons in the Animal Crossing series who are apprentices of Tom Nook. In games prior to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the two work on the second floor of Nookington's, and beginning in New Leaf they operate their own store.

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Timmy & Tommy’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!
Animal Crossing

In all versions of the first-generation games, Timmy and Tommy operate the second floor of Nookington's, offering the same functions as Tom Nook. In Doubutsu no Mori e+, if the player uses a shovel or axe to enter Nookington's after hours they will have droopy eyelids and wear pajamas

Wild World & City Folk

In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, like in Animal Crossing, Timmy and Tommy appear on the second floor of Nookington's

New Leaf

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Timmy and Tommy now run their own store. In all incarnations of the store except T&T Emporium, only one of the Nooklings works at a time. At the Nookling Junction, Timmy works on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Tommy works on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; at T&T Mart, Timmy works from 7 PM to 5 AM and Tommy works from 6 AM to 7 PM; and at Super T&T and T.I.Y., Timmy works from Friday to Sunday and Tommy works from Monday to Thursday. At T&T Emporium, Tommy works on the first floor and Timmy works on the second floor. The first time the player visits Re-Tail, Timmy sells an item to Reese. Once their store upgrades to T&T Emporium, Timmy and Tommy begin to sign letters with their full names: Timothy and Thoma

New Horizon

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Timmy and Tommy operate the Nook Inc. development venture along with Tom Nook, and they guide the player through picking their initial appearance, name, and island layout. Prior to the construction of Nook's Cranny, Timmy sells and buys items in the Resident Services tent while Tommy wanders the island carrying a flag during the day and offers advice to the player when spoken to. The day after the player pays off their first home loan, Timmy tells them about his plan to build a store, and he gives them a list of materials to bring him. Once the store is built, Timmy and Tommy start working there.
