Background
Bang, also known by his hero alias Silver Fang, is a martial arts master, the creator and teacher of Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, and formerly a professional hero. He was formerly the 3rd highest ranked S-Class hero of the Hero Association and was recognized as one of its most powerful heroes. He is currently settled in City Z. In his youth, he was nicknamed Wind of Blood.
Personality
- Heroism: Bang is a very heoric man, being noted when one thinks of "veteran" he is the first thing to pop into their heads.
- Playful Personality: Despite the wise old man persona he has, holding dignity and great ability, Bang's true personality is noted to be surprisngly playful.
- Kind Soul: Even when Bang looks to be mean, it is from a place of kindness. An example of this is when he beat Charanko and kicked him out of his dojo for being too weak, with Genos revealing the reason he did this is because Bang is going after Garou and Charanko would've been hurt in the process if he was still apart of his dojo[1].

Powers and Techniques
All beings in One-Punch Man have a Limiter which through trying to break it, starts granting them the following abilities: Indomitable Will (One that breaks their limiter need to have extreme will to continue[60]), Mimicry (Physiology Mimicry; Limiter users should scale to Phoenix Man, who could gain abilities based off the inspiration of his costume[61]), Supernatural Resilience (Characters like Garou were able to survive being ripped apart and a hole in his chest[62]), Resurrection (To experience explosive growth, one must be on the brink of death and die than resurrect[63]), Reactive Adaptation (Garou has shown to increase himself to blitzing and overpowering Darkshine, who previously managed to break his entire ribcage, by breaking his limiter[64])
Equipment
Nothing notable.
Notable Techniques
- Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist: A killer move he created himself by developing the martial arts that he learned with Bomb. The secret essence of this technique is to parry the enemy's attack like a stream of water, and then drive a powerful blow into an unguarded spot. The scars all over his body and his spectacular skills testify to the harshness of his training and the intense battles he surmounted.
- Instant Movement: Using special footwork, he moves swiftly and fluidly like a stream of water. By moving the opponent, he can accurately aim for the vital points.
- Presence: Bang's aura even makes Tatsumaki flinch, even though she outranks him. Even among the S-Class, his presence is exceptional.
- Piercing Fang: With his trained fingertips, he can pierce even the smallest of vital points with a single strike of unmatched accuracy. It is smooth as water and can smash even rocks with its unparalleled destructive power.
- Abandonment: By training his dynamic visual acuity and anticipating the enemy's movements, he is able to demonstrate the terrifying power of abandonment. He can catch and run through even the quickest of enemies with precision.
- Water Stream Encampment: A defensive technique that repels and parries attacks in the extent of the arm's reach. Nullfying attacks by staying on the defensive.
Other
Standard Tactics: Bang utilizes his defensive martial arts style flawlessly, though if he's in a situation where it won't work, he will keep using his techniques, noting "You can't teach a dog new tricks".
Weaknesses: Bang is unmatched in martial arts, but it only works on opponent's of a certain size[65].
Note
- One Punch Man has a weird two chapter numbering system, one based on those published in volumes and one based on the online chapters, along with the numbering being further messed with due to redrawn chapters and merges/splits, due to this it is not viable to do references to chapters, but rather through arcs.
Trivia
- Bang likes spiny lobsters, his dojo, promising youngsters, and his older brother[66].
- Bang dislikes dojo yaburi, napacabbage, and rookie crushers[67].
- Bang's hobbies include improving his skill, spiritual training, phyiscal training,a dn the board game Go[68].
- The origin of his hero name comes from "Silver" representing his old age and "Fang" to represent his sharp martial arts skills[69].
- Bang refused to be measured by Child Emperor's Okame device, noting he doesn't like such things[70].
