Background

Luke Organa Solo, born Leia Amidala Skywalker, is the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, and the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. Much like her brother, Leia grew up completely unaware of her father and mother's identity. Instead, she was raised by a man named Bail Organa, and served as the Princess of the Planet Alderaan. Much like her biological mother, Leia was an incredibly fierce political leader.

Leia eventually became a leader of the galaxy-wide Rebellion, in direct opposition to Emperor Palpatine's Galactic Empire, at only 19 years old. She ended up coming in possession of the blueprints to the Empire's Death Star, which resulted in her ship, the Tantive IV, being boarded by Darth Vader. In order to not have the blueprints come under the possession of the Sith Lord, she sent them away with her two droids, C-3PO & R2-D2, to the Planet Tatooine.

She was eventually imprisoned on the Death Star, where she would be kept by interrogation. However, her actions paid off, as eventually the two droids returned to her alongside Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, who rescued her from the space station. This eventually resulted in the destruction of a Death Star, and a massive win for the Rebellion.

As the war continued on, Leia would eventually develop a begrudging romance with Han Solo, who oddly charmed her. Furthermore, when the conflict with the Empire eventually came to a close, she learned of her original heritage and blood relation to Luke, which revealed Force capabilities within her. She married Han Solo, taking on his surname, and bore three Force-sensitive children; Jacen Solo, Jaina Solo Fel, and Anakin Solo.

Alongside the training of her children, Leia also trained herself in the Force, and became an incredibly proficient Force-wielder. Because of the powerful nature of the Skywalker bloodline, Leia's Force proficiency became so great that she was regarded as one of the best Jedi of all time, alongside her brother.
