That's funny. It seems I have tears in my eyes... but I'm not one bit sad.
~ Quatre Raberba Winner

Background

Quatre Raberba Winner is a main protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, and is a supporting character in their sequel story, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop. He is one of the five main heroes of the After Colony and Mars Century timelines of the Gundam series.

Quatre is the only son of the prestigious Winner family, and the only one of the 30 Winner children born to not only be male, but also be birthed a natural birth outside of a test tube. Feeling easily replaceable, Quatre would eventually try to leave his family, and enlisted as a Gundam pilot; notably being the pilot of both Gundam Sandrock and Gundam Sandrock Custom. He has also briefly piloted Gundam units such as Wing Gundam Zero, which he fought proficiently with despite being manipulated by its ZERO System.

Quatre is the leader of the G Team, alongside Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, and Chang Wufei. Much like the other members, excluding Heero, Quatre eventually decided to discard his Gundam suit and retire as a pilot. He would eventually become the co-developer of four new Gundam suits, now under the alias of Instructor W. He also served as a sort of mentor for his genetic clone, and little sister, Quaterine Oud Winner.

General Information

Name: Quatre Raberba Winner, Instructor W

Origin: Gundam

Sex: Male

Age: 15 years old (Gundam Wing), 16 years old (Endless Waltz), around 30 years old (Frozen Teardrop)

Classification: Gundam Pilot, Instructor, Gundam Developer

Alignment: Lawful Neutral (Quatre is extremely professional and intelligent in everything he does, though he does not fight for true peace. He does indeed desire peace for the Space Colonies, but sees no issue in destroying the militaries of Earth in order to accomplish this. He follows his orders exactly as given and has trouble breaking the mold, possibly due to the pressure to live up to his family name), Chaotic Evil in Wing Gundam Zero (When under the influence of the Zero System, Quatre was driven completely insane, and all of his insecurities and reservations were amplified tenfold. The rage over the death of his father fuels his hatred and sends him into a blind rampage when he's at the helm of Wing Zero, going as far as to mortally wound and even threaten to kill his friends for simply trying to get him to stop) | Neutral Good (Quatre has seen the error of his ways and now fights for the good of humanity, not simply the good of the Space Colony. He no longer views people as being in separate factions, but as one large collective species looking to survive, and does whatever it takes to protect them, even if it means protecting the Earth that he used to attack)

Codex Statistics

Key: Beginning of Series | End of Series/Endless Waltz

Tier: High 10-B, 8-B in Gundam Sandrock | High 10-B, likely 6-B in Gundam Sandrock Custom

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Above Average Human level (Although not a perfect soldier like Heero Yuy, Trowa is still extremely skilled as a highly athletic circus performer. He can pilot Gundam suits, which are advanced mobile suits that are fatal for most usual humans to pilot), City Block level in Gundam Sandrock (Standard Gundam mobile suits can casually destroy three Leo suits at once, which requires this amount of power) | Above Average Human level, likely Country level in Gundam Sandrock Custom (Has been upgraded far beyond its previous form, now able to somewhat contend with Gundam Epyon; Epyon is directly comparable to Wing Gundam Zero, which vaporized an entire space colony with its Twin Buster)

Durability: Above Average Human level, City Block level in Gundam Sandrock | Above Average Human level, likely Country level in Gundam Sandrock Custom (Comparable to Wing Gundam Zero, who can withstand the recoil of its Twin Buster)

Striking Strength: Above Average Human Class, City Block Class in Gundam Sandrock | Above Average Human Class, likely Country Class in Gundam Sandrock Custom

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Travel Speed: Athletic Human (Can outrun most humans, and is noted to be very nimble), Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Heavyarms (Should be somewhat comparable to its upgraded self) | Peak Human, Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Sandrock Custom (Should be similar to Wing Gundam Zero, who could cross a massive distance in only 4 seconds)

Attack Speed: Athletic Human, Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Sandrock (Can react to its own flight speed) | Peak Human, Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Sandrock Custom

Reaction Speed: Athletic Human, Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Sandrock | Athletic Human, Massively Hypersonic+ in Gundam Sandrock Custom

Stamina: High

Range: Standard Melee, Tens of Meters in Mobile Suits, Kilometers with laser cannons

Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Though not as highly trained in all areas as Heero Yuy, Quatre is unbelievably intelligent. He is able to easily outsmart most other mobile suit pilots without trouble, showing a high sign of combat intellect, as each pilot has several years of experience. Zechs Merquise directly notes that Quatre is the brains of the group, and Quatre himself has been trusted to lead and command the team)

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Superhuman Speed, Large Size (Type 1), Flight, Information Analysis (Gundams can easily gather and display the data of their enemies), Enhanced Senses (Gundam suits can detect incoming threats), Energy Projection (Can fire energy blasts from its cannons and rifles), Curtain Fire (With automatic fire), Homing Attack (With homing missiles), Light Manipulation (The Shield Flashers emit a blinding light) Heat Manipulation & Magnetism Manipulation (A Gundam suits' Buster Rifle generates heat and a magnetic field. Sandrock's Heat Shotel exerts immense heat), Self-Destruction

All abilities of the Gundam Sandrock to a greater extent, Spaceflight, Precognition (Types 1 & 2; The ZERO System will not only analyze a battle and determine all possible outcomes, but can also give the pilots glimpses into the future), Empathic Manipulation (The ZERO System will control a pilot's emotions if they are too weak-willed)
