Background

Lord Tirek is the sixth main villain of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, acting as the main antagonist for the season four finale Twilight's Kingdom, and easily one of the most dangerous entities in the whole series. Tirek is a centaur from a land far away from Equestria and possesses the ability to steal the magic of other beings. Returning from a long exile in Tartarus, he sets forth to absorb all magic in Equestria, which he failed to do millennia prior. Early on, he enlists help from Discord, who was initially sent to stop him, playing on the Draconequus' hubris to win him over. Knowing loyalty only to himself, Tirek is quick to betray Discord after regaining enough of his strength, eventually stealing even Equestria's Alicorn magic. However, shortly after achieving his goal, he is stopped and imprisoned once more by the newly released Rainbow Power. He returned in the ninth and final season, acting as the final antagonist alongside Queen Chrysalis and Cozy Glow.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Life, Essence, and Magic Absorption (He can absorb the magic from ponies, something that's directly the essence of beings, along with their life force, in which the use of their magic directly takes from their own, where the absorption of magic from Queen Chrysalis' throne was directly compared to Changeling's feeding off of one's love, which love is also tied to the life-force of a being. Absorbing one's magic will also cause them to lose their cutie mark, which, as depicted with Starlight Glimmer's numerous cutie-mark manipulating spells, will weaken a person, changing their set of skills and mindset completely, and making them extremely miserable), Statistics Amplification, Size Manipulation (Stealing magic strengthens him and causes him to grow in size and muscle strength. Even in his first form, taking all of the magic from a single pony will double his strength, though the amount needed to reach stronger forms will expand more the larger he gets), Energy Projection (He can project energy), Social Influencing (Convinced Discord to help him grow stronger, tricked Grogar alongside Cozy Glow and Chrysalis), Stealth Mastery (Seen here, Lord Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Queen Chrysalis are able to stealthily move along high-alert and highly-guarded places such as the Canterlot Archives)

All previous abilities, better Absorption alongside Power Nullification (He can now absorb the life force and essence of other beings outside of one's with magic, such as Earth Ponies, taking their all of their strength. Absorbing the magic from a pegasus stops them from flying), Telekinesis (Can stop others from moving with this), Resistance to Extreme Colds (Can now wander on mountains with no issue from the cold)

All previous abilities, Non-Physical Interaction (Can interact with magic), stronger Power Nullification (Absorbing the magic from someone now causes them to be completely incapable of movement, and weakens their entire body), Energy Manipulation (Rather than just project energy, Tirek can now completely manipulate it), Regeneration (Low, casually regenerated his tooth back), Acrobatics (Shown to be highly acrobatic), Vibration Manipulation (Can create large vibrations in the ground to move earth from it)

Intelligence: Gifted, presumably Extraordinary Genius at his peak (Incredibly clever and manipulative, was able to manipulate Discord, who was able to do the same to the Mane 6. Along with Queen Chrysalis and Cozy Glow, he was able to bypass the Canterlot Castle's improved security system without notice and turn the three Pony tribes against each other. He also conspired with Cozy Glow to help her drain Equestria of all its magic, including outsmarting Twilight Sparkle to some degree)

Standard Tactics: He will lead with the absorption of magic, life force, and essence. If this were not to work, Tirek will physically beat on his opponent to weaken them, or make sure they can't do anything against him through the use of his numerous other abilities.
