Stellaron

From The Codex
In a quiet moment in time, the Cancer of All Worlds began to cause ripples across the stars, like a rock tossed into a pool of water. Before anyone noticed, this twisted and unknown matter had already corrupted a great number of worlds, but resplendent and mesmerizing gems accompanied this corrosive mud — gems known as the Stellarons.
~ Stellaron Hunter - ??? in Data Banks, Factions

Background

Stellarons otherwise called Cancer of All Worlds by the Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC), is a phenomenon that is corroding various worlds within the Honkai: Star Rail universe, spreading across all the universe.

Various factions had started to notice a phenomenon since a specific time. A vague, imperceptible matter was disrupting the flow of Imaginary Energy along the interstellar routes created by Trailblaze. Like a mountain climber meeting a cliff or a long-distance ship encountering tsunamis and whirlpools, interstellar travel changed from being unobstructed to being dangerous and unpredictable.

This phenomenon is remarkably aggressive. It continues to encroach upon neighboring worlds in the form of a mysterious object, the Stellaron. It keeps spreading all over the universe like a cancerous growth, leading the Interastral Peace Corporation to call it "Cancer of All Worlds" and warning interstellar travelers not to take it lightly. The worlds swamped by the Cancer of All Worlds were soon beyond saving, and very few people survived.

There are many speculations regarding the Cancer of All Worlds, and most are related to Nanook the Destruction and the Antimatter Legion. These cosmic destroyers often seemed to appear together with Stellarons. We do not yet know if these occurrences are related or are only coincidences.

Fragmentum is a byproduct of the Stellaron, transforming various creatures and spaces into special areas.

As the Cancer of All Worlds spreads along the worlds, the corrosive phenomenon of Fragmentum is also quietly expanding. The Intelligentsia Guild believes there is a direct, causative relationship between the two phenomena. They believe that the Fragmentum is caused by the Stellaron, and converts the entities and spaces it touches into special Fragmentum creations. These creations usually exist as a type of spatial corrosion. They seem to preserve the memories and habits of the original physical entity, but manifest significantly different outward behaviors and are often very hostile towards other beings. The scholars researching Fragmentum warn that we should consider any being corroded by Fragmentum to be a completely unrelated existence to its original form. Harboring any kind of delusions towards it could cause grave consequences.

Apart from corrosion, the Fragmentum also records the Aether information of the entities and spaces touched by the Fragmentum. Such data is combined with the information inherent in the Fragmentum and develop into a type of hybrid Fragmentum creation. Countless Relics, Fragmentum monsters, and even mysteriously isolated paranormal spaces would spring up in every corner of the worlds corroded by the Cancer of All Worlds. We are still investigating the intent behind such activities.

Codex Statistics

Tier: 4-C

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Star level (The Stellaron amplified the likes of Cocolia to be capable of fighting and even killing The Trailblazer[6], who fought and defeated Phantylia, who can casually "crush" one with the weight of a star, causing a massive explosion, along with greatly dwarfing the planet in size[7] along with The Trailblazer being comparable to Dan Heng, who was noted in Part III of Himeko's character story that he defeated monsters that can swallow stars in just one strike of his lance[8]. Can fight the Doomsday Beast[9], who is noted to be the legion's Planet Destroyer[10])

Durability: Star level

Range: Varies per Stellaron, up to Cross-Universal (The effect a Stellaron has across the world varies per world. Though all Stellarons have the Fragmentum creatures absorbing information and data combine it to make isolated paranormal spaces that spring up in every corner of the worlds corroded by the Cancer of All Worlds[11]. Along with the Stellaron forming different caylxes with their own stored data of reality in them[12])

Intelligence Unknown (The Stellaron is a sentient being tricking beings like Cocolia into betraying her people and family in order to follow it[13], along with talking to The Trailblazer)

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Retrocognition (Likely due to being connected with a Stellaron, The Trailblazer is able to see into Cocolia's past when she first interacted with the Stellaron[14]), Precognition (Premonitions; While the Stellaron was going out of control, The Trailblazer saw numerous visions of the future while trying to protect March from a blast[15]), Forcefield Manipulation (Due to the Stellaron going out of control, a forcefield was made around the Trailblazer while they were trying to protect March 7th from the Doomsday Beast[16]), Weather Manipulation & Spatial Manipulation (The Stellaron causes a spatial reading anomaly that affects the complex locality of a world[17]. Welt notes that a Stellaron's arrival causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems, along with generating distortions in space such as Fragmentums[18], with the Stellaron being the cause for Jarilo-VI becoming a frozen planet[19]. Noted by Dan Heng that creatures outside the city of Jarilo-VI came from a tear in corroded space, otherwise known as a fragmentum[20]), Data Manipulation & Information Manipulation (Total; The results of the phenomenon of space distortions form Calyxes, which contain reality data in them[21]. The Fragmentum records the Aether information of the entities and spaces touched by the Fragmentum, the data is combined with the information inherent in the Fragmentum and develop into a type of hybrid Fragmentum creation[22]. The Stellaron and Fragmentum are the cause of relics a construct made from a data stream that are objects corroded by the Fragmentum whose data is saved and then reconstructed), Conceptual Manipulation & Space-Time Manipulation (The Stellaron disrupts the flow of Imaginary Energy, which imaginary energy comes from the space-time vasculature, and surges endlessly from it, creating countless worlds[23], with all paths originate and are formed from imaginary elements with it being philisophical concepts and a metaphysical aggregation of spirit), Pocket Reality Manipulation (The Fragmentum creatures absorbing information and data combine it to make isolated paranormal spaces that spring up in every corner of the worlds corroded by the Cancer of All Worlds[24]. The Stellaron forms different caylxes with their own stored data of reality in them[25]), Creation (The Stellaron creates fragmentum monsters across an entire planet[26]. The power of a Stellaron can manifest shadows carrying out the Fragmentum's unceasing will to expand[27]), Corrosion Manipulation (The Stellaron leaves behind a massive corrosion that can spread and even target areas under the protection of the Aeon of Preservation, Qlipoth[28]. The Fragmentum is a corrosive phenomenon that is quietly expanding[29]. The Fragmentum continues to corrode bodies even after death[30]. Monsters that have experienced corrosion as the Fragmentum expanded have been corrupted into Fragmentum monsters where their source of power has mutated[31]. The Fragmentum energy of the Stellaron being assimilaited into Cocolia transformed her into a singer able to control Imaginary Energy[32]. Noted by Welt that the Fragmentum's erosion affects reality, tearing open a rift in space[33]), Corruption & Power Modification (Monsters that have experienced corrosion as the Fragmentum expanded have been corrupted into Fragmentum monsters where their source of power has mutated[34]. The Fragmentum energy of the Stellaron being assimilaited into Cocolia transformed her into a singer able to control Imaginary Energy[35]), Radiation Manipulation (The Stellaron is noted to be a star which unleashes stellar radiation[36]), Transmutation (The Stellaron converts the entities and spaces it touches into special Fragmentum creations, becoming a type of spatial corrosion[37]), Ice Manipulation (The Fragmentum creates crystallized elements of a bird releasing eerily low temperatures, freezing everything around it[38]. The Stellaron is responsible for the Eternal Freeze on Jarilo-VI[39], causing colds so great that not even The Power of the Trailblaze could protect the Astral Express from the cold[40], with the Trailblaze Path allows one to adapt to harsh environments[41]), Fire Manipulation & Heat Manipulation (The Fragmentum creates crystallized elements of a bird emitting intense heat, burning everything in its path[42]), Electricity Manipulation (The Fragmentum creates crystallized elements of a bird brimming with electricity, releasing thunderclaps in all directions[43]), Air Manipulation (The Fragmentum creates crystallized elements of a bird engulfed in tisting winds, raging on like a tornado[44]), Fusionism (The Fragmentum corrosion can still have victims live, to piece them together into one bizarre creature where any part of them that was once human has vanished[45]), Mimicry (Physiology Mimicry; The Fragmentum creates shades that can mimic the form of the Silvermane Guards in a twisted manner[46]), Reality Warping (The Fragmentum causes beings like the Imginary Weaver to exists, a being that do not belong to the world, breaching into reality and passing through countless barriers, using imaginary power to twist reality at will[47]), Technology Manipulation (The Fragmentum twists and creates machines out of the "perversion of the Fragmentum"[48]. The Stellaron seems to be the reason for the mutations done to the Entranced Ingenium: Obedient Dracolion, the Entranced Ingenium: Golden cloud Toad, and the Entranced Ingenium: Illumination Dragonfish[49]), Animal Manipulation & Resurrection (The ambrosial Arbor was mended by the Stellaron, reviving the Abundant Ebon Deer[50]), Memory Manipulation (The Fragmentum made a special connection with Cocolia, having it repeatedly generating forms in her image[51])

Other

Weaknesses: The Stellarons are able to be sealed by the members of the Astral Express and other beings, such as Herta being able to seal the Stellaron within her space station.

  36. Stars are of course sources of visible light, but they also emit UV, X-ray, and even gamma-ray light. The emission of stellar radiation depends on their surface temperature and also on their activity. Therefore, emission is related to the evolution and spectral type of the star and it can be highly variable
