The Root Pack are three bosses in one and some of the first bosses in Cuphead. They are located on Inkwell Isle I. The Root Pack consists of Sal Spudder, a large potato, Ollie Bulb, a massive onion, and Chauncey Chantenay, a psychic carrot, Additionally, a radish named Horace Radiche will appear if Ollie Bulb is left alone during his phase and fight alongside Chauncey Chantenay.

Buttered, smashed, and mashed. It's over for you.

Background
Sal Spudder is a large potato who fires balls of dirt and worms as attacks. His personality is unknown but seems to enjoy consuming dirt and worms, based on his only attack. Based on his facial expressions, he seems to have a very grouchy personality. The only time we see him smiling is on his Death Screen.
Ollie Bulb is a large onion who uses his tears as a method of defense. He gets upset quickly, so if he has to choose between violence and peace, he gladly chooses peace unless someone hurts him first. As most of the Inkwell Isle citizens are friends of Cuphead and Mugman, even in situations like they are here to collect their debts, he doesn't jump straight to fighting them like every other boss in this game.
Weaknesses: Seems to be emotionally unstable as the slightest hit will cause him to ball into tears. Is immobile while in combat
“
I'm lean, mean and full of beta-carotene

Background
Chauncey Chantenay is a carrot who is very skilled in psychic abilities. He seems to be maniacal and insane. When he pops out of the ground, he makes a boasting gesture at Cuphead and Mugman, suggesting that he is a show-off. He is also the presumed leader of the group.
