From The Codex

Kite

Background

Kite is the protagonist of the original .hack// Quadrilogy that consists of Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine. Kite is given the power of the Twilight Bracelet, something that has the power to create the future of The World or destroy The World in its entirety, that was meant for his friend Orca. He, along with several other players, investigate and deal with an outbreak of corruption across The World and fight off the Cursed Wave and Morganna. Through fighting the Cursed Wave, Kite faced off against the Shadow of Twilight, Cubia.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 2-C, possibly 2-B. 2-A with Data Drain.

Name: Kite, Kite of the Azure Flames

Origin: .hack//

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Classification: Twin Blade, Data Drain user, .hacker

Attack Potency:  Low Macroverse level, possibly Macroverse level (Can harm the Phases who passively destroy many Fields with their existence. The death of a Phase causes destruction in most Fields in The World), higher with buffs. Macroverse level+ with Data Drain (Data Drain is described as the power that could save or destroy The World at the whim of the user, The World contains countably infinite Fields which are considered their own space-times.)

Dimensionality: 3-D

Travel Speed: At least Superhuman, higher with buffs.

Combat Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic+ (Can use Lightning based magic as well as tag those who can dodge it), possibly Immeasurable (Should be comparable to the Phases and Cubia who can casually cross between Fields without the use of Chaos Gates or other means), higher with buffs.

Reaction Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic+ (Can dodge lightning based magic), possibly Immeasurable (Can dodge attacks from the Phases and Cubia), higher with buffs.

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Low Macroverse level, possibly Macroverse level (Can harm the Phases who are this durable), higher with buffs.

Durability: Macroverse level+ (Can be repeatedly Data Drained by the Phases and be able to come back from it within a few moments even without his Bracelet), higher with buffs.

Stamina: Very High (Can continuously fight for several hours in a row without tiring)

Range: Standard Melee Range with Twin Blades, varies with spells (they are all based on his field of view) Macroversal+ with Data Drain.

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Death Manipulation and One Hit Kill (Some Twin Blade Weapons have a chance of inflicting instant death on the target they are hitting), Healing (with items), Immortality (Type 4, will be protected and strengthened by Aura in times of need), Life Manipulation (can drain the opponent's life to heal himself), Damage Reduction (Can occasionally reduce damage to nothing), Hacking (is a somewhat skilled hacker from his time working as a .hacker), resistance to the effects of Data Drain (Can be repeatedly Data Drained and only take some damage and potentially get a status effect even without the Bracelet), Sound Manipulation and Mind Manipulation (Was unaffected after hearing A in C Major repeatedly, which would pull the minds of those who hear it further into The World), Corruption (He didn't get corrupted or fall into a coma when he was attacked by a Data Bug before he had the Bracelet)
Healing (With Repth spells), Status Effect Inducement (via Lei spells), Statistics Reduction (via Dek spells), Power Bestowal and Statistics Amplification (via Ap spells), Poison Manipulation (Can inflict poison on targets with Duk Lei), Fire Manipulation (with Vuk spells), Water Manipulation (with Rue spells), Electricity Manipulation (with Rai spells), Darkness Manipulation (with Ani spells), Earth Manipulation (with Gan spells), Summoning (with various summon-type spells), Can give himself and others Regeneration with Rip Saem, Air Manipulation and Plant Manipulation (with Juk spells)
Data Manipulation and Reality Warping (Can affect the data of The World and alter it however he pleases), Mind Manipulation (can send targets into a coma as well as send their conscious into The World, if the target's mind doesn't end up in The World it ends up in the liminality between The World and reality), Memory Manipulation (Can cause memory loss if they don't fall into a coma), Existence Erasure (those who have their data drained are erased), Status Effect Inducement (Can inflict a random status effect on targets), Technological Manipulation (major changes to The World will affect most technology connected to the internet), Information Manipulation (Can rewrite the information of anything within The World), Hacking (Able to hack into things that are considered impossible for a normal person to do), Boundary Manipulation (Able to manipulate the boundaries of The World as well as able to induce liminalities on the boundaries which exist in between them) Immortality and Regeneration (Type 8, the Bracelet will exist as long as Cubia does and will prevent the person with the Bracelet from dying for good. Will regenerate the holder of the bracelet after their data is destroyed), Durability Negation and Resistance Negation (Allows Kite to Data Drain the Phases of the Cursed Wave who naturally resist the effects of Data Drain. Data Drain bypasses the enemy's defense to deal damage to them)

Standard Equipment: Twin Blades, Twilight Bracelet or Daybreak

Intelligence: Above Average, possibly Gifted (Was able to quickly grasp the situation at hand and then begin to take charge in the taking down the Phases despite his young age)

Standard Tactics: Will use Data Drain at every possible opportunity, while waiting for Data Drain to be ready he will use physical skills or spam spells at a distance.

Weaknesses: Overuse of the Twilight Bracelet can have adverse affects on Kite, however this is not a problem with Daybreak. Kite is easily tricked into doing things if it means helping others.

Feats: Defeated the Cursed Wave with the help of the other .hackers, was able to fight a strengthened Cubia to a standstill
