Background

Bubby is a scientist at the Black Mesa Research Facility at the time of the Resonance Cascade in Half-Life VR who becomes a member of the Science Team. He claims to have been born in the facility, having been grown in a tube after several failed attempts. In Act 3, he and Benrey betray Gordon to the US Military, leading to Gordon getting his arm chopped off (and later replaced), and him getting put back in his tube. He is later freed by Gordon, Tommy, and Dr. Coomer, though not after some verbal sparring.

Age: Unknown (Bubby was described to "always be an old man" since his conception in the tube, and apparently does not age)

Attack Potency: Building level (Can harm those capable of harming him. Stated to be stronger than Dr. Coomer[1] and could even knock him out cold[2], who nearly early bored a hole in a metal wall, punched the top off of a tank while Gordon wasn't watching, and completely destroyed a metal grate with his bare fists [3]. Has access to Pulse Rifles, which can vaporize human bodies[4])

Travel Speed: Atheltic Human

Combat Speed: Subsonic+

Reaction Speed: Subsonic+ (Comparable to Gordon Freeman, who can dodge rockets)

Lifting Strength: Class 5 (Comparable to Dr. Coomer, who could overpower a massive hydraulics system[5])

Durability: Building level (Tanked an explosion that killed Tentacle, who’s this large, as well as withstand the heat of a rocket that incinerated Benrey[6]); Resurrection makes him difficult to kill

Stamina: High (Can fight hordes of enemies without fatigue or needing rest)

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Several Meters with grenades, Tens of Meters with Barnacle Grappling Hook, Hundreds of Meters with guns and RPG

Is a sentient AI), Immortality (Type 1 and 6), Longevity (Is unable to truly age[7]), Resurrection (Instantly respawns whenever he dies[8]), Martial Arts (Could trade blows with Dr, Coomer[9], who was an aspiring boxer before becoming a scientist[10]), Weapon Usage, Explosion Manipulation (Via grenades and rocket launchers), Cyborgization (Partial. Stated to have a bionic heart[11]), Self-Destruction (Will self-destruct if he learns the specifics of how he is cloned[12]), Flight (Has shown the ability to levitate[13]), Transformation (Shown to be able to transform into a car[14]), Fire Manipulation and Homing Attack (Can transform into some sort of flaming wheel that homes in onto his opponent[15]), Portal Creation and Time Travel (Can create portals that can allow others to travel in time[16]), Self-Perception Manipulation (Drinking soda allows him to see faster[17]), Resistance to Fire Manipulation (Survived being set on fire[18]), Heat Manipulation (Could stand on top of a rocket, which heat's was potent enough to incinerate a human body[19])

Intelligence: Below Average (While Bubby was created to be the Ultimate Scientist, he has a lack of self-preservation skills, runs into obvious traps, and injures himself on a regualar basis. However, he shows surprising aptitude with puzzles and is the most capable member of the team at maneuvering Black Mesa's architecture)

Standard Tactics: Bubby will lead with firing his guns or throwing explosives at his opponent, with the slight chance he'll use his homing attack on them.

Weaknesses: Is cowardly and prone to running away from danger. If he learns the specifics of how he is s clone, he will self-destruct.
