Background
Eilie is a young woman from the Grasslands, who serves as a supporting protagonist of Suikoden II. She is introduced as a travelling Circus Performer, alongside her older sister Rina, and partner, Bolgan. Eilie is one of the first of the 108 Stars of Destiny that is recruited, herself being the Tenzai Star.
Eilie is quickly infatuated upon meeting Riou and becomes his primary love interest, constantly seen looking out for him and asking him to spend time with her. Although Riou temporarily leaves to go and travel the world at the end of his journey, Eilie constantly thinks of him and awaits his return, so that they may settle down together.
