Background

Mario is a shopkeeper that was said to be a prophesied hero that will rescue Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom from the wrath of King Koopa. Mario and Luigi along with a dog journeyed far to collect the Triforce in order to save Peach and defeat King Koopa. With the Power of the Triforce which consists of the Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Invincibility Star, Mario was able to defeat King Koopa, save Peach, and restore peace in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario is an average shopkeeper that was said to be prophesied hero that will rescue Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom from the wrath of King Koopa. Peach sought him out while being chased by King Koopa but when Mario was confronted by him, he was utterly stomped by King Koopa. He then kidnapped her to get married with her and went back to the Mushroom Kingdom through Mario's TV screen. Peach however dropped her Emerald Pendant necklace and Mario took it in awe. The next day, Mario couldn't stop thinking about Princess Peach while working at his Grocery Store and couldn't work normally. Luigi went to confront him but then noticed the Emerald Pendant he had. Luigi recognized it and said it can guide the owner to the Mushroom Kingdom, a land of untold riches. Despite not knowing how to get there, Mario and Luigi were excited and wanted to go to the Mushroom Kingdom. After calling calling someone to find a way to get to the Mushroom Kingdom, a dog appeared at Mario & Luigi's shop, taking the Emerald Pendant that belonged to Peach to get Mario and Luigi to chase him. Mario and Luigi chase the dog into a pipe which takes them to the Mushroom Kingdom. They then meet Kinoko Sennin, a wise old man that explains how King Koopa has conquered the Mushroom Kingdom and he asks for the Mario Brothers to help save the Mushroom Kingdom from King Koopa and to save Princess Peach. When Mario asks why him and Luigi were chosen, Kinoko explains that him and Luigi are the prophesized heroes of legend described as "Male twins from the Kingdom in the East. Mustached faces and big button trousers. Colorful clothing that's darling as flowers. Emotionally Sensitive and in money's powers." He then explains how it will be a long journey and they need the Triforce in order to defeat King Koopa. The Triforce consists of the Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Invincibility Star. However King Koopa's Henchmen scattered them around the world and Mario & Luigi have to find them. Mario & Luigi then accept to go on the journey and travel through many places with the dog saving citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom and obtaining the Triforce Pieces. Lastly, Mario & Luigi arrive at King Koopa's castle and Mario eats the Triforce to then overpower and defeat King Koopa. In the end, Peach says how she will meet a Prince that has the same Emerald Pendant as her. Mario deeply in love with her confidently says that he will find it but then discovers it was actually the dog who had it and the Dog transformed back into a human stating how King Koopa turned him into a dog and that he is the Prince of Flower Kingdom. Mario is saddened by this but accepts it since Peach is happy. Mario & Luigi then bid their farewells and return back to their home.

Standard Tactics: Mario uses physical attacks along with the abilities of the Triforce. He then can eat the full Triforce to become far stronger than normal. He can also throw laughing, crying, or anger shrooms at his opponents. If he ever has the cloud, he uses its effects until it wears off.

Weaknesses: Can be naïve at times, falling for the traps Goomba's trick them into. Lakitus cloud wears off after a bit
