Summary

Nicol Bolas is the main antagonist of Magic: the Gathering. When he was an "Oldwalker", he was insanely powerful and was casually causing rifts, and he was one of the few survivors of The Elder Dragon War

After the mending, he plots to gain his old power, including manipulating of planeswalkers and planes

After he lost his former power, he set up a plan to get it back, which included going to Amonkhet and killing anyone old enough to remember, and set up a 5 trials system to create a massive army. He also created the misconception of the Blackblade killed an Elder Dragon, and trick Ral Zerek to call all the planeswalkers to Ravnica so he can use the Immortal Sun to trap them there, and was only defeated when he was caught off gaurd
