Background

Hydrex is a Water-type monster in Vulpin Adventure. It is the boss of Sea Cave and also the third boss you encounter in the game. Upon defeat it drop a tome called Bubble Fountain which will teach your Vulpin a new move and the path to the Cloudy Peaks is revealed. Hydrex can be encountered again at Darklight Castle. It is the third of five bosses. Upon defeat it will drop the Aqua Breath tome.
