Background
Plague Rat of Doom is the fifth Sanctuary Boss in MOTHER (localized as EarthBound and guards the fifth Your Sanctuary location in the game, Magnet Hill. Like other rat enemies in EarthBound, the Plague Rat of Doom's guts stat is maxed out at 250, making it extremely likely to land critical hits. Once it has been defeated, Ness and his friends may record the melody of Magnet Hill on the Sound Stone.
