Background

Benga is a young boy, prodigious Pokémon Trainer, and grandson of the former Champion of the Unova Region, Alder. Having inherited his grandfather's free spirit and intense passion for fighting, Benga set out on his Pokémon journey early, as a Dragon Type-using Pokémon Trainer. Eventually, Benga made it to Black City's Black Tower (in Pokémon Black 2)/White Forest's White Treehollow (in Pokémon White 2).

Benga quickly dominated the Black Tower/White Treehollow, quickly making it to the highest/deepest part of the area and serving as the final boss of the entire establishment. There, he remained undefeated as an unbelievably strong trainer, perhaps the strongest in the entire Unova Region. Eventually, however, Benga was reached by Nate/Rosa, who challenged him to a battle for his title.

Benga eventually lost, though was allowed to remain as the leader of Black Tower/White Treehollow. Almost happy that he lost, inspired to see such a strong trainer as Nate/Rosa, he gifted them with a Pokemon; Shiny Gible (in Pokémon Black 2)/Shiny Dratini (in Pokémon White 2).

Intelligence: Below Average (Benga is shown to not be extraordinarily intelligent, talking in extremely broad terms, almost like a caveman, and acting almost as if he was raised in the wilderness. In a sense, he is fairly airheaded and carefree), Genius in battle (Benga is an extremely competent Trainer, viewed as one of the most powerful Trainers in the entire Region, even compared to some Gym Leaders like Drayden, who have decades of experience. His combative skill got him to become the final boss of the Black Tower/White Treehollow, which most adults were unable to accomplish)

Weaknesses: Benga himself is not a combatant and is theoretically left wide open to attack | Benga’s Pokémon are each left wide open if Silver is unable to guide and command them. Latios and Latias are weak to Bug, Ghost, Ice, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy Types. Garchomp is weak to Ice, Dragon, and Fairy Types. Dragonite is weak to Ice, Rock, Dragon, and Fairy Types.
